  • first seljuk empire then ottoman empire, but seljuk and ottoman empire are the same people but different idealism

  • ı am historian: turks usually didnt refer to themselves as turks; they used their tribal names likes oghuz, peçenek, selçuk and else. the modern term TURK is an expression especially the lebantene italians invented and used for everything related to the islam. This was common up to founding of the turkish republic...

  • Dear historian, now we refer to ourselves as Turks and we call out land Turkiye :) Oguz, Pecenek Selcuk, all same now :).

  • Gokturks were the first used the word as state name, an ancient empire from central asia.
