What suspension setup are yall running on it? I'm getting ready to work on a '54 that's going to have a big cube side oiler in it. I'm still deciding what i want for the suspension. part of me wants the full-on drag 4-link setup but the rest of me would like something a little more tame for the street but would still hook & go @ the strip.

hey CustomCadillac13, you sound like your involved with this truck so I have a question. After you played with the suspension, are you able at all to get it to hook up? I see it just likes to send the tires up in smoke and am curious if you were able to dial it in to hook up. Most pickups are super light and hard to hook up, my 69 C10 with a 450hp and nearly 500ft lbs has taught me that! But my trucks got a 3 link with coils from the factory, so that helps. My guess is your suspensions custom
Invest in a decent suspension? This truck has better than a decent suspension. This was of first live test run. Many changes were made after this with many more runs like this.
@WTEGE The trucks more then likely never going to be forsale, the make a wish foundation got together with the collage to build a boy this truck-family for generations etc and he had lung something- sorry dont remember the name of it so sanding and chemicals etc, he couldnt work witht there fore they biuld this truck- if u type in 1951 ford F1 on google the second pic is of this truck and the artical comes up and explains everything that was done.

We made most of the parts. Pros-Pick out of Canada made the bed and cover, Fairlane out of Michigan made the hood. Hope this helps, Team WCC
