lol, when birds aren't outside to learn "real" speech, they learn from what they hear inside, hence why they will do things like star wars and games if you teach them. Its pretty cool and I give you props!

Yeah, my bird becomes aggressive if he sees a mirror and doesn't want to go away from it anymore. He thinks that it's another cockatiel and sometimes even fights with it. Some birds aren't that addictive though, so it depends on the bird if its bad or not. In my case, my parrot becomes less social and everything if someone let him near a mirror even for a few minutes. Dramatic change, really!

wow that is amazing. So when the bird hits the wrong notes, is that due to the owner singing the wrong notes and the bird mimicking, due to the bird singing the wrong notes even though it learned from a correct source, or is it something different altogether?

Also, do the birds learn the theme from their owners whistling (which would explain wrong notes) or by watching the show and somehow picking up on the melody?

I don't have a bird or know anyone who does. This is interesting. Thanks!!!
