@Eule2010 opinion. and a poor one, at that. sure, this album's great, but they've grown so much as a band over their last two releases and their next one is sure to be their finest hour thus far. they've improved their skills tenfold since this album (partly because of lineup changes) but their new material is also even heavier than this. they started using eight string guitars and, well, i don't know how long mike tiner's been playin' a six string bass but i think it's been at least a few years

I LOVE their first album. It's heavy, unapologetic, young, and fast. You can really hear that the guys are all 21 and under when they wrote this. I consider their first album to be one of my all time favorites because it's completely uncompromising.

I like really much the brutal tone of Hate, Malice, Revenge. But I think it's kinda' redudant, almost all of the songs are very similar.

The Price of existence was much melodic and technical, love that! They got better, for me at least.

It's not about being an elitist. It's about watching the music you live for being desecrated by idiots that listen to music that is played on-par with that of a sophomore's cover-band. Death metal is about brutality via the most musically technical means (the good bands anyway). All Shall Perish is the ONLY dethcore band I listen to because: The vocalist doesn't scream like his girlfriend kicked him in the sac. Most dethcore is disrespectful to the metal lineage, and should immolate.
