  • The way Kenyans like to own up to Swahili..

mjifunze properly then and make it a national language to all like us Tanzanians alafu muongee lugha fasaha.

  • It is actually saying " yesu ni wangu wa uzima wa milele.." he wa uzima wa milele he wa uzima wa milele" which means " Jesus you are mine for my eternal life" ...... " let us rejoice"

  • Absolute lovely. I love this one too much. Remembers me of services in church in Africa.

    - Zaburi 98:1-2

  • This song is called Wamilele. We sing it in church once in a while this always brings the mood to church. ( I am Nigerian.)

  • So I need to also thank you for inadvertantly turning me on to new spring

  • Yesu ni wangu. Ni wa uzima wa milele. (Swahili, the language is called 'Kiswahili' in that language, but 'Swahili' in English.)

"Jesus is mine. He is the one of eternal life."

  • I'm so glad that in Heaven they do not speak in Swahili, I don't understand it. Whatever language we will speak, 'The common people heard Him gladly'.

I love this song, Yes, Yesu ni wangu wauzima wamilele!

  • How do you know that they do not speak Swahili in Heaven? Thank God you said the name "Yesu" rather than that of the europeanized imposter name of "Jesus." The Savior's name is YAHOSHUA in Hebrew translated as "YAH is Salvation." Peace and Shalom to all in the hope that the "american evangelical conservative christianity" gets aborted before making proselytes that will become twice the devil that they are.

  • Wow Ednoisin you are mean. I don't think I like your God.

  • No problemo Mike! You're entitled to your opinion and belief. May the peace of the MOST HIGH YAH be upon you. Peace and Shalom,

  • jamani, I am so proud to be a first-language speaker of such a beautiful and angelic language like Kiswahili (Swahili). I wish they would teach it in more universities across the United States.

  • Asante sana.

  • well that was random. what are you thanking me for? lol.

  • @jnyerere I vote with you! I'm a Swahili-speaking Muzungu, living in Cornwall, UK. I grew up in Tanzania, & love the Swahili language, & the watu, more than I can say! Swahili is gracious, humorous, poetic, just beautiful!

  • @speakswahilidammit , thanks for writing ... and I agree with you 100%

  • @speakswahilidammit :WOW!!!lovely.I love wazungu who speak Swahili.coz it really sounds great.and that means they love the land they were living in,and the culture.i think you are a very open person.and the world needs more open people like you.am a kenyan and my aunt owns a school that belonged to a british lady before, and through that i lernt to love wazungus and now live since 99 in germany and i know what God has done to me through giving me an open mind.KEEP UP!!na Ubarikiwe milele.

  • Balidaplex,

"The tools of our trade ... are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity."

  • Please, I just came back from Kenya and heard this song in my host mom's church where she ministers. It really touched my heart. I could not understand all the words but the feeling was beautiful. Does anyone know the name of this song? Does anyone know the exact lyrics in Swahili?

  • The song title is: Yesu ni Wangu (Jesus is mine)

    The words:

Yesu ni wangu wa uzima wa milele

(Jesus is mine to eternal life --

this is sung over and over and is interjected with ululation).

    chorus:

Wauzima wa milele (He's -Jesus- mine for eternity)

Characteristic of African music, the song contains many improvised verses by the leader.

  • Please, does anyone know the title of this song? Or at least the lyrics in swahili?

  • The name of the song is YESU NI WANGU WA UZIMA WA MILELE (Jesus is mine and He is the Lord Forever)

  • your musical instruments need synchronization.

  • Cant hear all the words properly but the chorus says 'Jesus is my mine...for eternal life' Not good in translating, thou!

Kinda of guess you may like this one as well 'Yesu Nakupenda' by Rose Muhando (Translates as 'Jesus I love You') Search for it!
