  • wow i wonder if some of the colts we saw at the woodstown rodeo were those "babies"

  • Yup the brown and white! We named him Apache Trail because he was all by himself on the trail coming in

  • No way! Thats so cool! I don't know a lot about horses, is your dad the one on the the spotted brown and white horse at 3:26? I don't know what a Chestnut Piebald is lol. That little foal is SO CUTE!!! Lucky you! What did u name him/her?

  • @florioorio Actually 'Chestnut Piebald' does not exist. It's an oxymoron (statement that contradicts itself). Piebald is a term for a black and white pinto horse with a fully white face. Pinto means that the horse has patches of white on it or in some cases a white body with patches of color. Skewbald is the term for a white-faced pinto horse that is any color but black, though usually people think of chestnuts when they hear it. Chestnut is the term for a horse with an orange/red haircoat.

  • OMG I am in this VIDEA and so is my DAD! I am the one in the VERY beginning and I am wearing the teal outfit tanktop and shorts! My father is the one on the Chestnut Piebald! He is a Chincoteague Island Herder! 3:26 is when my dad and his horse is and that year I bought the little foal that came in last =)

  • Great video!! :)

Actually there is no such thing as a "Chestnut Piebald"- you could say "chestnut pinto". Skewbald is a pinto that is white and and any other color, but a piebald is white and black.

    Congratulations on your foal!! :):)
