I don't get all these reviews of people saying they were "scared" of this movie when they were 9 or 10! I saw this when I was 3 or 4, and it was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my entire life! A masterpeice of unprecedented entertainment! Ok I admit it is a bit freaky at times, but that only makes it more interesting to watch, and so much imagination! Perhaps I was an exception as a small lad, and maybe children under 10 should precede with caution, but man what an adventure!
Okay, THIS is definitely what the trailer for the movie should have been like. The "real" one looks like some stupid happy-go-lucky typical children's film. When in reality the film is so disturbing on so many levels. Thanks, your trailer was much more realistic and accurate!
Didn't they exploit the kid too because they found out his hair has magical qualities when used as hairs for paintbrushes? They walked into the paintings n stuff. o_O craziness.
why would anyone let there child watch this!?!?! and yes i did watch it when i was little and just like everyone else's comments it was weird and freaked me out!!
wow... yeah... this is a lot closer to what I remember. All I remembered about this movie was a bald child... peanut butter... and that it royally freaked me out as a kid.

I watched this as a child. I'm now 30. And after watching this the movie has brought back floods of memories - and shivers
