My favorite movie, timeless story, and although not the best quality, it has taught me alot in my journey. I would love to see it in a (Lord of the rings style, movie up to date.

The shot of the book opening definitely has been borrowed from Disney's Jungle Book. Escape death and judgement? One cannot escape death. By why should one face judgement after death when one did no wrong. But let's hope Adolf Hitler, Timothy McVeigh and Myra Hyndley faced judgement.

I know, it's great. From what I understand, it came out in the 50s and then the music was dubbed in from the 70s. At 4:34, I love how Christian says "Read it sooo... if you wii-iiillll... in my book."
