Hearing this takes me back to the Chequers in Oxford in 1984 or thereabouts, and its video wall. It is simply a brilliant intrerpretation of the song. I always felt that there were slightly menacing undertones to this an that it's not unambiguously a happy song.

I haven't heard a version of this song I don't like. I am a bit biased toward the Beatles version because it's the original and seems to have the most feeling (as Lennon wrote it about someone he knew), but I am biased toward this too, because I just love Siouxsie ^^ (and generally I think ladies have better voices). Check out the Jerry Garcia Band's version as well!
