i got a 79 ford f150 and has the original buzzer still in it..well it died on me the other day and my grandpa has got a buzzer in his 79 ford that still works but doesnt want the buzzer no more...how can you get the buzzer out is my question
I got a 94 F150 4.9l with a buzzer, so I can go to the junkyard and pull a chime out of a Crown Vic and it will fit? if i can do that im gonna do it.. why do some F Series have both a chime and a buzzer?? other than the diesels?
Why didn't the base models for the 1997-99 F150 use a scary buzzer instead of a chime? It would have made more sense for the 97 F150 to only use the chime on the XLT models. Is there any way to put a scary late 80's Ford truck buzzer in place of the chime on the 1997-99 F150?
Could you do this swap with a1994 Taurus sedan/wagon?

I like the dinger better, just a thought. If only i could change them out like that with my 88 4runner. I don't like the buzzer in it!
