I am due to attend my 4th placement tomorrow - in outpatients (post knee, shoulder surgery) - i noticed that the patient on the stairs was crutch walking, however is this the stage where it is ok to have only one physio or HCW to walk with them? We were told it would be a safety fail if we walked them up and down stairs with only one member of staff..
