Actually, there's Cajun, then there's Creole, meaning the accent is heavier. There's one where there's just as much French used as English, but I'm not sure if that goes under one of those two categories, or if it's a different one all together.

I know some people from there, some other people who have spent a lot of time there, and I have some family there, but I still don't speak French and have sadly never been there before :P But I love to hear them talk :D

That's a good question Doggirl. However, I hope they don't. I'm from Kentucky where we have varying degrees of southern accents, depending on the area of the state I'm in. I love it. And it is very refreshing to hear the accents. Viva the differences!!
