  • You know fair enough on these "superheroes". There doing good and that's all we need really

  • There are SPD jobs available right now! If he wants to fight crime 4real, he could. But he's a kid at heart, acting out his fantasy! If he wouldve got shot n killed, would it have been worth it? 4 a mini van? He thinks it's cool. That's why he showed the news up here his face. Most people up here r more just like"what's he doin?" Atleast those who have lifes, and aren't dumb enough to get shot over a mini van! It's actually childish for people to think it's cool. Grow Up Peter Pans Of The World

  • How about you real life super heroes go after the real life super villains such as the bankers, corporate elites and warmongers who have destroyed our nation. People like Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, The Bush Family, The Rockafellers, Rothschilds, The traitors John Mckain and Carl Levin who sponsored the new National Defense Authorization Act, which allows the military to be used on American Citizens, and allows indefinate detention without due process. That would impress me.

  • Seattle sucks.. Still the lawless west, full of people who look the other way! Good for Phoenix!

  • ...........Which is why I want to be a hero

  • ROFL!!! Oh shit thats so awesome!

  • @PugSleasy shove it up your ass.Just because you don't have the balls to do something like this or you don't give a crap about what happens in the world doesn't mean everyone has to be as shortsighted as you.Sure it might look dumb to see people fighting off crime like this but it is nonetheless inspiring to see someone do something as cool as this.

  • REminds me of the Mystery Men...

  • he should go to NY and protect people from the police

  • This guy is so awesome

  • i might dress up tonight and beat some meat

  • Technically he's not a SuperHero.. He doesn't have super powers, so he's just a hero.

  • Dan is HOT! :D:D

  • My Kudos to this guy-- More people ought to have the balls to stand up to the crap that roams our streets.. I applaud him!!!!!

  • hes probably gunna end up dead before long

  • Comment removed

  • for some reason my dad has no faith in the guy, but has faith in ordinary policemen...

  • I'd love to see more of these types on the streets and fewer of those tax-feeding, donut-grazing assholes with badges who claim to "serve and protect" while harassing harmless citizens every opportunity they get.

  • I thought about this a lot when I was a kid, but I live in Northern Maine, not exactly a high crime area...either way, I think it's great. Most of the people who think this guy is stupid or call him names put the "Pathetic" in Apathetic.

  • I'm with all of you - I hate people who work full time, pay their own bills, and on the side try to stop crime and make the world a better place.

This guy is a total loser and needs to get an X-box, some Doritos, and Code Red Mountain Dew.

  • @ToshiroMifuneSan Shut the hell up!I knew as soon as I heard about this superhero movement, that some fuckin pussy was gonna start acting like fucking critic and making fun of people like this guy who actually has the guts to do something heroic. The world is a merciless, digusting and a repulsive mudball filled with ungrateful insects like you who wouldn't know good if it took you to the sidewalk and eat your ass straight. This guy is just trying to help better the world.

  • @SergeantTomato5 You obviously miss the sarcasm in my post since I point out he is working full time, paying his own bills, and trying to stop crime as opposed to people who do not do anything except play video games while eating Doritos and Code Red Mountain Dew. Also, if the world is such a terrible place like you say then why don't you try to help it out by not insulting people you *think* you disagree with.

  • @ToshiroMifuneSan I agree totally with you. I am grateful to have someone like Phoenix Jones doing his best to make a difference. I wish he did have superpowers so he couldn't get hurt out there. I'm grateful that he is a MMA fighter and a descent guy at the same time.

A lot of people forgot how Curtis Sliwa started out and how big his organization has grown. If someone actually had superpowers, they wouldn't risk as much as Phoenix Jones does, because he can get hurt. Thanks Phoenix Jones!

  • @ToshiroMifuneSan Oh my god, thank you. These people are so smug and yet they don't lift a damn finger to help others. This guy actually places his life on the line for others.

  • @ToshiroMifuneSan I could not disagree with you more unlike you rlsh around the world have the guts to risk their life and make it a better place i myself am offended being a rlsh, were not losers were poeple trying to make a change instaed of sitting on my ass and complaining about other people, you have no reason to insult us because i dont see you doing anything than complaining, when you save someones life than you can insult me and the rlsh

  • Can He fly? Can He Shoot laser out of eyes? What are his powers?

  • @Darkmanskin He has the power of pepperspray!

  • @Darkmanskin you know who else doesnt have powers? batman and captain america...

  • @TheZeldalink09 I see that you don't know your heroes. Batman has super scientific knowledge and detective skills. Captain America drank the Super-Soldier Serum. This guy is a loser !

  • @Darkmanskin no. batman may be a genius, but that isnt a super power, and while cap did drink the super soldier syrum, it doesnt give him powers. its just steroids enhancing his strength and speed. this is something totally possible.

  • @TheZeldalink09 Oh Ok you win fanboy. Oh GOD! How did I get here?

  • Benjamin John Francis Fodor AKA Phoenix Jones needs to get a life!

  • @Darkmanskin He has a wife, kids, and a 9 to 5 job...

  • @alphacentfanguy , So what! he needs a life.

  • @Darkmanskin I'm pretty sure that having a day job, a wife, children, and being a "super"hero (I'm not going to debate the usage of the term) counts as a "life"

  • @Darkmanskin You sound like some guy who's jealous of his prowess.

  • No super-powers and therefore not a superhero? Actually, Phoenix Jones HAS a super-power: The power to wear a costume without appearing so ridiculous that people ROFL to death. It's that power that separates him from ordinary people, so he's "super", i.e. above ordinary.

  • @tmafkap LOL

  • True, but what if they had an army of guys like that walking the streets. All with a ccw legally carrying a gun, and if they get shot at there justified shooting back. Could happen. And what if allot of these guys were trained fighters or special forces from military. Gang banging losers would have a problem then. Then again I always say the military should roll through streets with tanks and choppers and kill all gang members. I would totally support it.

  • haha damn if someone did this in LA they would be dead so fast, imagine trying to run around watts and south central in that uniform stopping crime at 2 in the morning lol he wouldnt last an hour

  • Vigilantism will prevent crimes which happen where cops arent on patrol.. not to mention vigilantes could be anyone, thus giving a psychological benefit of having criminals being extra wary. The world needs more vigilantes. Though not wearing ridiculous costumes since its a dead giveaway..and dangerous! Just one small act of vigilantism can give the victim enough time to escape. SPREAD THE WORD!

  • i had a similar thought about vigilantes recently.. i seriously think its a somethin we should incorporate into our society...

the law continues to protect criminals and hardly gives any form of protection to the victims.. sure a rapist goes to prison but is that truly enough for the victim, who has to undergo a lifelong trauma? would calling 911 prevent the rape if the whole thing can last as short as a few mins?

  • Free Phoenix Jones!

  • He should have his own movie.

  • Just like kickass said: "The comic books had it wrong, you don't need a power to be a superhero."

  • I live in Lynnwood!!. Now I really wan't to join these "rain city superhero" movements. If I could only build a suit... gain a little more muscle and maybe a little older, I'd probably call my self something like "ultra-89" , have an armored suit fully bullet proof/ resistant from steel toe boots to hard metal helmet and bullet proof visor. My weapon would simply be... myself,no tazers, just fists, and maybe a hidden pocket gun(with proper licencing) just in case the situation gets out of hand.

  • @zakkwylde89 Go for it man, it'll be awesome. :3

  • i tryed doing this once... terrible idea

  • sweet

  • Omg you would have to be the GAYEST Cun*t on the planet! FAAAAG!

  • THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVER! seriously I would love to have a real superhero save me someday :D

  • Now, I wonder why the rest of the world think that America is full of morons that either do this, report this, or believe this shit. It truly beggers belief. America, you are doomed. You get what you deserve. Suffer in ya jocks. Fucks sake.....

  • @slim439

CHECK OUT THE WORLD SUPERHERO REGISTRY IDIOT THEIR ARE HEROES IN UK who were helping ppl during the riots , One of them was called the Statesman .

Again America was on the head of the Superhero Movement since the early 70s this is not new people its just getting coverage because of the way the Net can promote this

  • i am going to find that comic book store in seattle and steal his tazer from his secret layer XD

  • yeea tell everyone your secret, just like how batman does, he tells everyone who he is and how he changes.

  • this is so lame and awesome at the same time lol

  • Maybe I could be his Sidekick.

  • This is the most awesome thing i've seen in years! He has a taser nightstick! That's awesome!

  • in the Philippines they have the DDS

in El Salvador you have the Sombra Negra

in the United states you have these guys............................................

the difference with these guys and the real vigilante groups around the world is that they are afraid of getting in trouble. pepper spray and tazers will not stop crime. they need to step up their game.

  • So, he openly explains where his secret lair is, that he wears body armor, and takes the time tor reveal his arsenal of weapons. Yeah, good job... You are an embarrassment to the rest of us.

  • OH BROTHER-HE EVEN REVEALS HIS SECRET LOCATION-I WILL TAKE HIM TO A LOCATION AND IT WONT BE BEHIND ANY BOOKCASE THAT'S FOR SURE

  • Comment removed

  • At first I was surprised when I came across this, but after reading up on and it reflecting its almost surprising that its taken this long with the rabid fandom that someone hasn't tried it out in real situations. As long as these guys aren't breaking any laws themselves, which it seems they are not I say good on them and wish there were more. This is like a modern neighborhood watch program, who wouldn't want a masked crusader watching their parked car over night?

  • This guy may have a good heart, but certainly there are plenty of professions that can help out the local community... like, I don't know... a police officer???

  • @immutabledude Obviously the police aren't doing enough to protect us upstanding citizens!

  • @immutabledude Well you probably havent been up on whats going on in Seattle, where Phoenix Jones and company are making their presence felt. The Seattle police have been murdering citizens and getting away with it. These people are basically doing a citizens patrol, ala Guardian Angels, in costume and trying to be a somewhat visible force to deter minor problems and assist when they can. They are trying to help as much as they can and create a small sense of security like fantasy heroes do.

  • @immutabledude It's more of the influence on people's feelings that makes his profession different from a police officer. For example: You see a normal random police officer stopping a car probably speeding, you suspect a punishing ticket as a result. But then OH MY GAAHH you see Phoenix Jones attempting to stop a speeding car (just waving his arms running on the sidewalk) what a hero! In reality he's not doing much, but on the inside, it's for a heartwarming and humanly positive purpose.

  • These guys aren't superheroes.

They don't have super powers so but definition they aren't superheroes. They are heroes.

Just like Batman is a hero and a vigilante, not a Superhero.

  • @snake2006 PC police strikes again! However, what if this guy has some kind of mutated brain that is lending to his urge of helping the innocent? I suppose it would be super mutant, or can someone qualify as a super mutant just by having any kind of mutation? Like an extra toe for instance? Are super mutants and super heroes two different species of hero all together, or are they related? =/ So much to consider.

  • @Taipans

They have to have super powers to be considered a super hero.

Batman doesn't qualify because HE DOESN'T HAVE POWERS.

Same goes for Green Arrow, Iron Man, they are just heroes.

  • @snake2006 what are you smoking?

  • @Xcoming2

I am not smoking anything. I am going by the very definition of Super Hero which means YOU MUST HAVE POWERS.

  • @snake2006 i don't know much about DC comics but having batman or green arrow or etc defeat villains twice as powerful as themselves, don't you think batman and etc should be considered superhero's with or without "super powers"

i bet you probably think captain america isn't a superhero since he doesn't have "superpowers" despite him being a super solider.

as along as there fighting crimes and protecting people in the way they have....they are superheros.

  • @Xcoming2

I know about Batman beating people with powers. He is the smartest comic book character out there.

Doesn't change the fact that he does not fit the definition of superhero since he has no powers.

Captain America could be called a superhero since his abilities came unnaturally since he took the Super Soldier serum which transformed him from a wimpy kid to superhero.

Batman earned his abilities Cap did not.

  • @snake2006 isn't saying "abilities" an other word for superpowers? judging what it says on Wikipedia and what you just stated.

you call cap a superhero while batman can do the same thing that cap does and sometimes even better. there really isn't a big difference between cap and batman when it comes to abilities or powers.

therefore if you can call cap a superhero who seemingly doesn't have any powers you can call batman a superhero who doesn't either.

  • @Xcoming2

But Cap had a serum which gave him his abilities. Bruce earned his through hard work.

So Cap fits the definition and Batman doesn't.

  • @snake2006 yeeeeeeeeeea. and wolverine is a hero too.

  • @Xcoming2

Wolverine is a super hero, he has abilities that normal humans don't. He has a enhanced senses,he has claws that come out of his hand, and has a healing factor which allowed him to survive the Adamantium bonding process which gives him his Adamantium Skeleton.

  • @snake2006 though i must agree with you. batman is super rich and has gizmos no other super hero has. thus why he is classified has a super hero. again i agree with you but has a super hero geek that bugged me :')

  • @snake2006 Actually, Batman has enough willpower to operate a Green Lantern ring, therefore he's a "super" hero. I think the term you're fishing for is vigilante.

  • @FridayNightDldoFight

But he doesn't wield the Green Lanter ring now does he.

Batman is still a Hero. He isn't a Super Hero.

Vigilante yes, Hero yes but in pure definition he can't be a super hero unless he gets super powers.

Same goes for Iron Man who uses tech to be a hero (a prick of a hero at that, which is why Batman is much better then Crapman.)

  • @snake2006 Do you know how much will it takes to wield a GL ring? If you can even do it, regardless of if you use it, you've got SUPERHUMAN WILL. That makes Batman a superhero. Also, Batman has dibs on all of the metahumans in the DC Universe, so I'm pretty sure it's safe to call Batman a superhero. A hero is an individual who helps others or performs a hefty task. Super means that they go above and beyond. Batman does both those things. He's not a meta if that's what you mean.

  • @snäke2006 Ha.... this guy Phoenix Jones is in the news again. This time, a court date for macing people. Saw your post. Super means extra, or "more than", or "above", or "Beyond". A guy who rescues a cat is a hero. A guy who dresses up as a bat and brings down kingpins and fights crime regularly can be considered a superhero. Maybe you're thinking "SuperHUMAN". Having abilities and capabilities beyond those found in the Homo sapien species.

  • THERE IS STILL HOPE IN THIS WORLD!!!

  • F**k YEAH!!!!

  • Search Phoenix jones villain. its pretty funny. he will be giving his true stories and experience with phenix jones. ignorant but the end and the stories are tru and funny

  • lól_ãNÿOÑÈ_wäÑnà_chAt_wÏth_mé_Ï_féÊl_sô_löÑëlY_tÒdaÿ∟

  • His costume is seriously pimpin' except for the pants. Seriously, skateboard shoes with the ankles showing kinda looks funny.

  • I'm gonna do this one day. The cops need to butt out. If someone wants to be fight crime, let them! As long as the superhero isn't killing or seriously injuring anyone, whats the problem? Criminals need a fist to nose every so often. These guys are keeping the streets safe. And their doing it for free. Police need to fuck off.

  • Seattle represent!

  • Is there a arch enemy to this guy?

  • The "NEWS" support him so much that i think he get probebly killed :(( they even show his Comic Store -.-

  • @SonyBeats10 Search Phoenix jones villain. its pretty funny. he will be giving his true stories and experience with phenix jones. ignorant but the end and the stories are tru and funny

  • I guess Alan Moore was a visionary, one of these guys is gonna get gunned down when their cape gets stuck in a revolving door LOL

  • omg guys, there are more super heroes popping up, we now have the statesman in britain, and captain australia who patrols brisbane and sydney, this is too fucking cool guys!

  • To be honest I would feel safer in downtown if I saw Phoenix Jones walking down the street. I wish there was more of them.

  • @Singerjoy there is about ten now i think

  • @abisivepoo Yes

  • these guys can't hold a candle to MINT BERRY CRUNCH SHABLADOO!!

  • @yungcarl22 Not everyone can have the freshness of mint and the satisfying crunch of berry.

  • @yungcarl22

    It's SHABLAGOO.

  • if life were a comic, i would always end up as the sidekick.

  • YOU WILL NOT LAST PHOENIX JONES! CHAOS! CAPTAIN CHAOS!

  • To the Batmobile!

  • He is not necessarily a vigilante. Regular citizens are allowed to make a citizen's arrest, i.e. nabbing a drunk driver/calling police to come and apprehend him/her. Most people do not react because either a) police are paid to do it (our tax$), b)they 're inexperienced and/or untrained, c) a coward, or d) completely indifferent. This guy clearly stated he accepts the potential for injury as a part of his responsibility for his choice. Police should let him do what he as an American wants.

  • Foolish citizens!

The day of THE SPEEDSTER has come.

Google "Phoenix Sense" and gaze in TERROR at the Seattle SuperVILLAIN who's already made a name for himself in Rain City!

  • he's like Batman...on a limited budget

  • Just be warned when a superhero rises a SUPERVILLIAN will fight back.

    P.S. EPIC!!!!!!!!!

  • As cool as this is, being a vigilante is illegal. Hopefully the police in his area are fine with him and his friends being around, but he could easily get put in jail for this.

  • @SutaSafaia there are more important things for the police to worry about.

  • @SutaSafaia he isn't a vigilante. he doesn't hurt anyone, he only keeps bad guys away from other people.

  • that dudes fuckin epic

  • He actully put a six pack in his suit. LMAO

  • @McQzer Because despite good intentions, some people have common sense not to wear tights.

  • This guy is a fucking loser

  • For some reason i have a feeling that there will be more people like this in the future, anyone else think that?

  • This guy is awesome...and that suit looks cool as hell...there's only one problem though. He should keep his identity a secret and he shouldn't talk like a normal person to people. He should act the role of a super-hero whenever he's in costume saying things like, "Is everyone okay here?" and "As long as evil exists, I shall stand and fight it until all are safe".

  • He is the shit, we need more like him, the pigs are not responding fast enough, I am inspired by such heroism!!!

  • Lol. Only in America :)

  • this story made me smile more than anything in a long time...thank you and thank you Phoenix Jones for keeping the streets safe for all.

  • kick ass

  • Can you imagine how great of a story that would be? "Dude there was a guy breaking into my car! i went to call 911 but a superhero came to my rescue and chased the evil-doer away!" "..............Ok Dan no more acid for you"

  • Phoenix- youre the man! We need more people like you!

  • Im not so scared of where I live anymore <3 Thats actually pretty cool!! Just dont get hurt mr hero man!

  • I wanna believe in this guy, but maybe the whole thing was staged. It just so happens that Phoenix Jones was right there at that moment.

  • geeks FTW

  • Dude.... So awesome lol. And his mom told him it was impossible as a little kid!

  • I'll build him a jet pack.

  • "I am the wild blue yonder. The front line in a never-ending battle between good and not-so-good. Together with my stalwart sidekick Arthur, and the magnanimous help of some other folks I know, we form the yin to villainy's malevolent yang. Destiny has chosen us. Wicked men — you face the Tick!"

  • Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the Comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

  • Beneath me, this awful city, it screams like an abattoir full of retarded children. New York. On Friday night, a Comedian died in New York. Somebody knows why. Down there... somebody knows. The dusk reeks of fornication and bad consciences. I believe I shall take my exercise.

  • He'll get old and he'll probably get shot in the grocery store while he's buying apples...But his idea will live longer than that....and I BELIEVE that someone will someday take this to a large scale....and make this world a better place to live...God bless phoenix and his initiative...

  • @antishkaran If you're serious then that's a win comment, I agree. I would do it, if I had the nerve lol

  • So you're telling me this guy HAS a job?

  • @Eukatheude How else would he be able to afford the costume, retard?

  • @LuffyBlack I don't even know what you're talking about, my comment must be an year old or something. And chill up.

  • @McQzer

We do its called the police department you help pay for. To bad the police only care about making revenue instead of fighting crime.

  • That's badass! So awesome that there are people out there that are willing to do something. Keep safe

  • @McQzer because if we did, they would stop making the movies

  • lmao in homebase like last month or something, my teacher had the news on and another thing about this guy was on. My class all thought he looked hilarious xD

Nutheads like him are actually a good thing though I guess.

  • some guy is trying to jimmy his car open and just when he was dialing 911 he comes out of no where and chases him away. how convenient. BULLSH**!! obviously staged.

  • damn thats awesome

  • OUTSTANDING I LUV IT...to bad the usa is littigation driven and the cops realy think they have to be worried abou these real life super heroes.

  • Unfortunately some crackhead will probably walk up behind him when he least expects it and shoot him in the back of his not-bullet-proof head because this is this real world.

  • @linearpink Lets hope not, but if this democrap congresswomen can take a shot to the noggen, this this dude can can take it, And Piss it out! Couragass mf'er , ive never been to Seattle but have heard, its tough, I live in Philly, And we have no superhero, this is KOOL!

  • Hope he paralyzes some retards. And then their families try to fight him and he burns down their houses. That would truly be good works.

  • Hey your a good guy...... Keep it up and be careful out there....

  • @funkyflights Search Phoenix jones villain. its pretty funny. he will be giving his true stories and experience with phenix jones. ignorant but the end and the stories are tru and funny

  • The detective urged people not to defend themselves against crime, saying "making my job easy and my friends rich is way more important than you keeping your stuff."

  • Netflix needs to shut off the Batman rentals to this guy.

  • KICK ASS, Mr. Jones...KICK ASS

  • This is fckn awesome lol

  • What about escalation? Much like what Gary Oldman's Jim Gordon character was talking about at the end of Batman Begins. This guy's now received massive publicity, so a lot of people in the region (and beyond) know of his presence in Seattle. I - personally - sincerely commend what he is doing; but a part of me worries for his safety of this person. If someone in the area IS about to go out and do something illegal, they are going to prepare themselves for this guy. And what of a super-villain?

  • @Sage21280 I was thinking the same thing... But you lost me at the end there. What are really the chances of a super-villain?

  • @CoolToobmovie Well... not exactly a "super-villain" in the traditional sense. I was suggesting that, say someone who is deemed something more realistically practical, such as along the lines of the definition of a "career criminal". On the other hand, it's not like we have John Dillinger or Al Capone-types running around in modern society; and even we did, I doubt any of them would concern themselves enough to don a "super-villain"-like persona, let alone even concern themselves with this dude.

  • Excellent point, I take it you have an insight into reality? I think a super villain would be a criminal syndicate that eventually has to expose itself to fully realize their ambitions. Perhaps this guy could respond to the needs of the citizens in times of martial law or something along those lines.

  • @Sage21280 If this Phoenix Jones character is going to survive as a superhero, he's going to have to go full Batman with the gadgets and the martial arts training and the kick-ass transpo vehicle. Because, as you say, he's known and the supervillains - or the crazy thugs - will come out of the proverbial woodwork to challenge him. He better get ready.

  • @donaldagoncalves I hate to say it, but if I can think of the following scenario (and I pray it doesn't come true, for his sake, and lest the authorities come looking for me, if it did happen), than someone eventually will. Imagine, a bunch of kid's with nothing but time on their hands and a point to prove, setting this poor guy up. A group of young, tough fools decides they are going to "stage" a fight or something, he comes dashing in to the rescue, then they all turn on and overwhelm him.

  • Yeah maybe, but if he's anything like a real superhero, he'll know to watch his back....

  • @TheJoker7682 ahahaha the joker...

  • Does something amuse you? I'm just wondering cause I want in on the joke....
