to those saying it was a hard landing..with all due respect, it has to be hard....in a real situation,...with TNCM having such a short runway, a 772 coming in a mountainous terrain on a steep approach will be going around 10-20kts faster than a usual approach, thus meaning a hard landing is needed so spoilers and the reversers can be initiated ASAP!
