@zali868 - Thanks! Based on the positive feedback that I've received, I plan to continue producing the 'Q&A Cafe' series. I appreciate the subscriptions and messages from all. :)
Love your videos and my question is I am about to buy either the hx9v or the hx100v and I am suspecting that they are both the same internals except for the badly engineered power port on the hx9, the g lens on the 9 as opposed to the Zeiss on the hx100. Is there any other thing I should know in terms of difference for me to justify buying a slightly more expensive camera? Sorry for the run on sentence.
@markymaclmb - The 3 things that come to mind regarding differences between the HX100V and HX9V are: (1) the battery on the HX100V lasts longer, (2) the manual focus ring on the HX100V is a fun and useful feature, (3) while I haven't experienced this issue myself, some owners of the HX9V have reported frustration with the pop-up flash on the HX9V. Overall, if you don't mind the larger size of the HX100V, it provides great value for the extra $100; however, the HX9V provides better portability.
did you use the sony Picture Motion Browser software to offload the pics? if not, the pictures and videos are located in completley seperate files. For me I use a SanDisk card and the videos are in a file called "stream"
To get to "stream" I would have to first go into the file called "private" -> then into file called "AVCHD" -> then into "BDMV" -> then finally I go into "Stream" to find all my video files. I hope this was helpful
subscribing is free LOL, and i subscribed :)

Re: Sony DSC-HX100V Photographs on my SD card download to my computer, but videos will not. Why? I'm using a PNY professional 8GB 2 hr HD video card.
