Ok one thing I need to ask is how do I get the treadmill and free run to work properly together? I want to do the 20 minute free run on a treadmill but a lot of times it will say My pace is uneven or to keep the Wii remote secure, and My pockets just aren't a good place to put the Wiimote but I don't move My hands all that much while walking on the treadmill and I don't think I'm ready to go to the faster speeds on the treadmill, what's the trick to getting both the treadmill and *2bcont.*
*Continued* what's the trick to getting both the treadmill and Wii Fit's Free Run to work together? By the way I hold the Wiimote in My hands but it always seems no matter how I'm moving with it that My pace is always unsteady, the Wii remote isn't secure, and My speed is either too fast or too slow, any help would be appreciated, thank you very much and I'll wait for a reply.
@Thenumber1yoshi I do not hold the remote, I tossed it in my pockets and with a little practice I got to where I could keep my pace steady. I never tired to win a race, I only used it to make the treadmill more interesting. I really wish them make a free walk game where you could walk around at your own pace and explore some fake world, zoo, park or what ever. Not a game, just walking. :)
@Thenumber1yoshi I used over sized sweat pants which made the pockets long enough to work right but I always exercise in oversize clothing in the winter so I can't say for sure that was the difference but I think the long pockets helped. I have not used it over the spring & summer since I can get outside but will test it again this fall & winter when I get my wii and treadmill back out of storage and post if I find a different way to do this. Wish I could have been more help..
@MomsBreak Ah one problem I have with My pockets is they're kind of big and shaky and I have issues keeping the Wiimote in My pocket from going very steady or straight or keeping it from being all over the place, My sweats don't have back pockets just regular front ones, I do wish I could replicate the way you do it, but I'm unsure does it say you don't walk a whole lot of miles when you walk on your treadmill, also we keep our treadmill a little diagnol and not in front of our TV so if *2bcont
@MomsBreak *continued* so if anyone of us falls off we'll land softly on our couch which is right behind the treadmil but I'd like it to be in front of our HDTV because My favorite part about the running is seeing all the Miis that are on your Wii pass by as you're walking, but its kind of hard to do with you going forward and facing your head to the left of you and that causes Me to fall off a lot I do wish we could move our coffe table to the side so I could see the TV and land *2bcont.*
@MomsBreak *Continued* and land on the other part of the couch that faces the TV but that might take a lot of work, I do have a hard time keeping a steady pace and some issues with My Wiimote in My pocket how do you keep a steady pace while on the treadmill with the remote in your pocket? Because it makes My Mii go either slow or all over the place. I don't get the trick to a steady pace.
I will tell you the track you run gets boring after a while and the running to pass people something you have to be careful and learn when to speed up ahead of time. I got the wii board and ski game which I found is great exercise. So I switch back and forth. I have lost 17 pounds! I wish wii make a walking game for treadmills where you could pick paths.
you should sell your treadmill and wii console and buy a bigger tv
