@walter0bz That would be interesting, but if you think about it Bateman wouldn't have a chance against Dexter and I am not saying that because I am cheering for him or something, but Bateman is just how he says "utterly insane" and erratic and he almost kills people randomly while Dexter is a very different type of monster, a very neat and smart monster and he is actually prepared even to hand-to hand combat and he has much more control than Bateman.

Funny thing, when Bateman warns her about being hurt, she thinks about emotional pain, while Bateman really wants to kill her. Happily though, she escapes unharmed. Also, this is the only time in the film where Bateman is stopped/interrupted while trying to kill someone, which makes him reflect for a while what he was about to do. Because deep down, it seems that he wants to get caught, just to attract attention, which he is devoid of in a cirlce of meaningless, faceless interactions.
