    i really had fun !

  • @NickyDoesStuff

    i was there !

    i was a soprano !

    we sounded greaaaaaaaat !

  • Were Singing This ( :

  • Different version than I sang in 9th grade. The particular piece just calls for a little more technique than this choir exhibits, probably due to young age. I had a beast of a director in middle school and part of high, so I'm used to rigorous vocal training. But when you're working with most younger groups, you have to consider a little more that mcuh depends on the director when it comes to precise technique. Don't knock this vid. It's not bad, the group just needs more training.

  • Singing technique wasn't too good

  • yo broz gtfo i was in this we were a middle school chorus n00bz

  • christ we did this for state contest our freshman year and we were wayy better than that!

  • I'm singing this, this year... And even having the song for less than a week, and singing it 3 times, we have it own better than this... :/

  • im sinning this in choir and it is toatally different [u can actually hear what were sinning]

  • Vowels! I sang this song back in middle school with my chorus. 2:36 That climax is when you let it all out. Whenever we sang that part I got chills all over my body. I love it when a Choir can send chills down my spine. I didn't get that from this. :\

  • I'm doing this song as a solo for my choir final

  • we are doing this song today in a preformance with only 4 barritones, 4 sopranoes, and 4 altos... sorry about the spelling.

  • vowels, vowels, vowels. c'mon people. That should be one of the first things you teach a choir.

  • @pats475 yep that was the first thing i learned

  • im singing this in all district right now

  • @risrismb same here

  • @risrismb

    Me too!!!!

  • Wow, thanks 4 uploading this, I'm going to sing it with a choir, and this is good practice to listen and get th notes right. Thanks again!

  • actualy i was singing baratone i was second chair

  • @Mebesti i sang tenor from ridgley

  • i sang this same song song today but we had a better piano player for all county randallstown

  • @thebluefish177 omg you were in that too? which part?

  • @thebluefish177 I WAS SINGING IN ALL COUNTY AT RANDALLSTOWN on sunday! whoa, small world.....

  • We're signing this song for choir too. :D

  • @lilzobel me too for a district chorus audition

  • Not exactly the good...

  • @hi5you987 i would have to agree

  • I wish the critique on this video was actually written in a way that could be taken seriously, instead of laden with grammatical/spelling errors.

This piece is so beautiful when done properly, but I don't think the kids in this chorus had mature enough voices, and the vowels/dipthongs are very closed and twangy. The tempo is also really fast for the mood of the song, what's up with that?

  • ... :0 And I thought the beginners in my choir sounded bad.... bc the beginning class is singing this song, cept' it's only girls o.o we have guys but they're not singing it. :0 High school~

  • im tenor 1 in high school our mens choir do this again when your voices are more mature i did it at like just turned 14 but the voice matorities dont match together with the song

  • lulz my school's choir is doing the same song with a couple alterations: My school's version is longer. XD

  • We sang this in Men's choir...I like it a lot.

  • the sound like a middle school, nd were singing this in our choir nd we're in high school lol

  • i sang this in ALL-State nd we even meet the composer :)

  • i was in 7th grade when we sang this, im an alto

  • @evilpheonix94 were u in buxmont?

  • I am going to sing this song in my choir! I am a alto though!!

  • were doing ths for our concert at my school

    you guys are really good

  • hey im in this video in the top row

  • @thinkingsnotillegal yo dude were u behind me?

  • were doing this for my chorus concert in the spring XD

  • they probably sound young because...they are...but i love this song and they did a nice job :)

  • the tempo is kinda fast...

  • wow, really good!! I love that song!! ^^

  • needs quite a bit of help.. still a good song though!

  • the girls could use taller vowels they sound really young

  • They could use deeper bases When we ang it we had really deep voices and im inculded in that. i took choir one year.

  • I heard this last night at my college chorus concert. I miss it :(

  • we sang this in our choir too

  • was in this! :P

  • i think they sing the tempo alittle fast. then again..i haven't hurd this song in a while xD

  • i remeber when my chior sang this song

  • i was saprano

  • we just had a concert last night, were the womans chorus, so the song sounded a little different with only woman voices. (frankly I liked it better, but that may be because it was in that class that I first heard this song). anyways we were pretty amazing at it :)

  • iam singing this song in chroir this year and its a wonderful peice

  • Who is your teacher in choir

  • Mrs. T!!! that would probably be unlikely, but it would be cool if we were in the same class.

  • i sang this song when i was a shopmore...

  • Talley middle school sung this. Wish I had a video

  • the year i sung was my last in choir i miss it

  • My choir sung this much better we had better blend and deeper basses i happen to be one. you did very well though

  • You guys sound really good (:

  • same here! our chorus already sang it though, it was ahh-mazing!!!!!!

  • oh wow, i <3 it.

my schools choir is singing this, but the thing is

we only have like 18 people.

    and its pretty GOOD.

    the sopranos are good.

so are the altos, and tenors(:

  • our concert choir sang this and we got a superior "1 rating and we have the best middle school choir in our regioin... only blue ribbon middle school (best award) in ohio...

  • What about baritone and bass?

  • our choir is singing this. in this video, they go really fast....

  • our diocesan choir performed this a couple months ago and this version is FANTASTIC. we're a bunch of highschoolers and these looks like young children. its soo much better than ours. GOOD JOB!! =D

  • ohh thanks! I was an Alto in Buxmont! We're actually just 7th and 8th graders.

  • some of the kids in our choir were too. but this is fantastic compared to us! im a soprano and we sounded nothing like this. it's just great!

  • Comment removed

  • this was one of my favorite songs to sing in choir!

  • my choir (grade 8) got this song down in one day (no I'm not bragging) but ten a gain we did sing really hard songs previous years so yeah anyway pretty good we still have yet to do this ion a consert yet so ^^ nice job

  • my choir is working on it too. they're good but in the very begining it wasn't that great. but other than the begining it was really good.
