  • So basically if you start something you're not sure of, you just do it on a new layer? I notice you virtually never flatten them. Does your computer ever lag from lack of RAM?

    never ran out of ram as i use 8GB but if i work on a very large image i simply save it as a new file then flatten.

    It's not about unsure, i just made it a habit to paint each new progress on a new layer, this way i can always go back, turn it off and see if i liked the progress.

    It is always best to work on layers, If you paint a image with a couple characters, having them and all other elements on different layers will make changes and adjustments easier.

    Fairly long, since some of the first graphic programs came out for the old computers.

    i still draw a lot on paper tho.
