  • @ismailaminaden what a stupid thing to say, every single word.

  • I wonder if these people should be put through a polygraph just to get the truth out of them. And if they refuse to answer questions then waterboard THEM

  • so after mukasey and bush... we just have to change names and definitions to change the law of this country and international law!!

i remember this from "1984".. in the end everybody had to say 2+2=5 (meaning the lie was the official truth)...

  • whitehouse & kennedy expose this creature he no doubt

    id from israel

  • "Chicken's Coming Home To Roost". We are a nation of LAWS. You break them - "YOU GO TO JAIL".

  • I'll keep your thought in mind and forward your input to Commissar H. Clinton. Then we'll see if you think that there should be no oversight for these detentions. The waterboarding which occurred was all before any trial. The Patriot Act defines "terrorism" very broadly and thus a terror suspect could be a pretty wide category, especially with no congressional or judicial oversight.

  • Did he answer anything/ Not one damn person in the Bush administration ever gives an answer to anything...in fact let me broaden that...no one n politics answers questions? I guess the job goes to their heads, and they forget who they are working for......

  • Excuse me: can someone please tell me how robbing a bank is NOT STEALING? OH, IT'S NOT STEALING? So, does that mean I can rob a bank and NOT BE STEALING? Gaaaaaah!

    Absolutely ridiculous. This inflames me.

  • This reminds me of those old films in NY where the mob is on trial.

The difference being the mob now occupies the white house and the attorney generals office. God we're screwed. It pisses me off no end..dog and pony show!

  • BTW Pukecasey and larry silverstein are good friends. they hang out at larrys topless bar when Mikes in NY...God we are screwed

  • Its NOT an issue, you f*&king, traitorous, Bush hugging henchman; its TORTURE!

    Vote Obama 2008!

  • Imagining facts and circumstances not in effect?!

So he's saying we won't waterboard! Whew, well I'm glad that's cleared up.

Move along folks, it's just imagined.

  • I feel like this investigation is making me have a strange affinity for will and grace... in other words, it's gay (but in the bad way)

  • lol - best comment i've read all night. agreed :D

  • these guys make a damn good living at saying a whole lot of NOTHING!!!

    fire them all!

  • "Power is not a means, it is an end... The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power." -George Orwell

  • Well, when will he make his required decision? Probably after Bush leaves office.

  • It is kind of refreshing to see someone squirm and try that hard to not answer questions than the usual I don't recall from the rest of the Bush crime syndicate.

  • Whose name are they waterboarding in?

  • If you are American, yours.

  • minus 20 points for that guy

  • If waterboarding s not torture, than will our own local police be able to utilize it as an legitimate interrogation technique?

  • send in the cleaner

  • Before confirmation: I can't comment at this time, I've not been confirmed

After confirmation: I can't comment at this time because of the office i have

I love the "I can't tell our enemies" argument. Does anyone else think Bin Laden would waste his time watching hours of senate deliberation?

  • Are thumb screws on that list?

Is "the rack" on that list?

Is sliding down a razorblade slide into a pool of lemon juice on that list? ;-)

  • Wow. Double talk at its finest!

  • "yes, it would be torture if done to me. . . but not to someone else."

  • kennedy: YOUR legacy diminishes by virtue of supporting obama out of your disdain for the clintons. AND obama, even more than you, is unimpressive on matters of national security.

  • The problem is that there's no other decent choice. Sure, Gravel and Paul are in the race, but they can't win any primaries because their views are too far out there for most people to get behind. The general voting public wants someone who's right of center on social values (including national security) and left of center on fiscal matters. Paul is sternly right wing on all issues, and Gravel is sternly left. Obama is the best realistic choice.

  • Does everyone see what it say's above the two men? Shouldn't it read Unjust Department.

  • I guess it depends what the definition of 'is' is?

  • Yep, Mukasey is nothing more than another foot-man for the King George!

    Vote Obama 2008!
