What an outstanding video this is. My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Please, Please, lets see Green Arrow back to where she belongs, on the mainline.
nice video and I was amused to see the intro text "last year" because it reminded me of an old real foto picture postcard with a family group shown - on the back was this "all of us last year' :)
TrainBusJaguar. As there's seems to be no way that the NRM will cough up for Green Arrow, one would have to get someone interested who could afford the overhaul and the new parts out of their loose change. Where's Richard Branson when you need him?
its a shame the U.S. cant be this grand when it comes to railroading. it really disappoints me that its hard to find a railway line or even a steam engine in the U.S. everythings diesel and electric=[
Yeah, I wish I could ride an old STEAM TRAIN for the experience, and if possible, to purchase a railroad and own a WELL TANK train, the one with four wheels, but I'm gonna need a WHOLE LOTTA MONEY... *Whirr*
@bmxrider13 Sadly its because most Americans are Automobile fanatics, to be blunt they don't give a Sh*t and see an obstetrical blocking the road, hence why many American railfans are seen as crazy because they like trains. Its sad, mostly only young children and the dwindling elderly population who were around when steam ruled the rails are interested. its hard to find Teen Railfans.
@madrailman91 Generate some interest by promoting a Misty Island spin-off from Thomas. Use Hank as the main engine, along with the logging locos that already exist. In 10 years, you'll be swamped with young rail fans! Thomas is always the first rung on the steam enthusiast ladder! Another one of my genius ideas!
@bmxrider13 Maybe thats your calling. take back all the ex-railway land that was bought up by the car companies decades ago and rebuild the line! It'd be nice to see a super-highspeed rail link connecting East to West; just like the days of the golden spike. It's greener than flying too, so it could make some serious money! Then build steam heritage lines along the route using the profits. Genius plan. ;)
@RailwaySeriesKB that would be beautiful! that's a HUGE risk though, and it would take so many years to build and everything....but still, it's a wonderful idea and if I had the chance to do it, I wouldn't say no and I wouldn't have any regrets.
If there's any locomotive that I wan't to see running again, its Green Arrow. Good video.

Very good video, It's a shame the NRM are spending £3,0000000+ on Flying Scotsman instead of consentrating on other locos for once

@bmxrider13 I know... Try a bit of government funding; it worked for the union pacific! Pitch it as a greener alternative to air travel. ;)
