  • PERFECT ! Greetings from Athens, Greece !

  • "The answer lies in yesterday" it is sad that yestarday is already gone

  • meravigliosa ......

  • This song reminds me of stories of a post apocalyptic world, after a nuclear war. It always cracks me up. Great song.

  • who sing this song?

  • Beautiful song!

  • on the seven day,The Mighty God created uriah heep and never told to anyone...

  • i don't understand why they have to re-record those amazing songs?

  • ik vind dit hun mooiste nummer

Als ik onder de grond moet ,moeten ze dit spelen

  • From who is the original from Uriah Heep o from U.F.O.?

  • @GALADVIEYRA The song was written by Fred Hellerman and Frances Minkoff and was first released on audio album by Harry Belafonte in 1963. Then was sung by Judy Collins, Theodore Bikel, Kenny Rankin, Tim Rose, Bobbie Gentry, Uriah Heep and Ufo.

  • Wohl mit Abstand die beste Version!!!

  • i can't recall a more moving song, it is the most moving song i've ever heard, it tears my heart apart, literally, i wish he (david garrick), hadn't been so much into the drink, maybe he would still be with us, still, bernie does a fine joh, keep it up bernie.. luv to all marz xxxx

  • ....Me encanta el tema....sólo sé que me pone triste, mas de lo que estoy....que por el momento es mi estado natural....ya me acostumbré....

  • I was 13 when I first heard this song,it touched my heart and soul and when I was 20 I was expecting my first born. Melinda Christine was the name I chose because this song touched me deeply. But,alas 2 days before her birth I called in my sleep where is my Melissa. I haven't heard this song in 30 yrs. So glad I added this to my play list.

  • I ´d never heard a better vesion like this

  • best ballad ever

  • don't know why there aren't more hits on this version !!!

a beautiful song by one of the best bands ever..

Got hooked on them and Nazareth pre 70's

  • get your tickets for uriah heep , back in uk doing concerts, i would be on cloud nine if it was David Byron on vocals, but alas it is not to be!!!, but Bernie Shaw does a fine job, concerts not until december, but i can't wait, Brighton here i come!!!..luv to all..

  • I was introduce to Uriah Heep at a party in Emaltin,Pa.What a trip

  • Yes their version is the best, but also velvet fogg and tim rose have very good version. It looks that this song is very popular, one of the most beautiful song

  • So sad!!! So great! So true!! This is the best version of this song even if UFOs version is quite good to! Thanx for the upload!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am from Romania and I love this song. Here are alot of Uriah Heep fans...

search for " Iris and Uriah Heep" .

the best co-cover of lady in black

  • @Sebastianodelarada I LOVE uriah heep... and i will move to Timisoara next week :) I lovoe Romania too

  • i don't like this song....... i absolutely love it!!!!!, can't stop playing it!, david had such an astounding range in his singing, not really found today. luv to all xxxx

  • @TheJanisjoplin58 Same with Janis Joplin another one of my favorites, the greatest female artist of all time. BTW Uriah Heep is one of the greatest of all time especially the Lawton and Byron era's.

  • @hermygagala , so nice to hear from a like minded person, i followed david byron to his new "rough diamond", group, it's good, but not the same, i like "scared", but ken hensley wrote such good songs that suited davids vocals, that stretched david to the extreme,he was a fantanstic front man, always enjoying the limelight, which i love, i love "come away melinda", i think because my dad played flute, and my brother played guitar, they are both now past, so sadly missed by all the family, luv xx

  • @TheJanisjoplin58 I'm sorry to hear that bro. I myself am a vocalist.

  • I love this song <3 ..

  • They are the best!

  • Perfect

  • i just keep coming back searching this song, hearing it all over and over again i like the song

  • Really the very best Version of this Beautiful Song!!

  • Απλά..τέλειο…..

  • I`m sure that it is quite hard to find another so brilliant song, and David Byron, I`m stunned.

  • It is fascinating, this version is about a conversation between father and daughter while the version of "The big 3" is about a conversation between a mother and her daughter. Of course both versions are brilliant!

  • i love

  • excellent song!

  • finalmente!!!

  • Great!!!! Thank YOU!

  • Good to hear this again. It's in our own hands to stop pain and suffering, we just need to throw away the fear of each other and open up to other ways. Open our eyes and realise, the money men control our lives and dictate what happens and when, ensuring their ruling of the planet and massaging their ego's. Stand up and let yourself be heard. Don't let them away with murder and lies. John Lennon comes to mind. Have fun.

  • @111chazz Right on man xx

  • Uriah was a friend of Melinda...

  • Most excellent of excellence--Of all acid/hard rock bands, only the Heep could cross genres like this. It brings tears every time, and perspective on the whole thing called life. I've heard many good versions of the "Melinda" song, perhaps most famously by Judy Collins, yet this is at a supernatural level. Live on, Uriah Heep. Your body of work is great, yet even just this one song validates your existence. Where are you now great ones? Thanks for listing.

  • They did such a great version of this folk song

  • from al the versions this one is THE BEST!

  • The soundtrack of all my life! Thank you!
