I was 13 when I first heard this song,it touched my heart and soul and when I was 20 I was expecting my first born. Melinda Christine was the name I chose because this song touched me deeply. But,alas 2 days before her birth I called in my sleep where is my Melissa. I haven't heard this song in 30 yrs. So glad I added this to my play list.

@hermygagala , so nice to hear from a like minded person, i followed david byron to his new "rough diamond", group, it's good, but not the same, i like "scared", but ken hensley wrote such good songs that suited davids vocals, that stretched david to the extreme,he was a fantanstic front man, always enjoying the limelight, which i love, i love "come away melinda", i think because my dad played flute, and my brother played guitar, they are both now past, so sadly missed by all the family, luv xx
