These look really yummy. And I'm so glad you made them a nice manageable size. So often here in the States, scones are made too large. Or perhaps that's because I'm in Texas. :). But it's easier to eat more when they're small, ha! Good job.
Just a side note (but there's nothing wrong with it)...I have NEVER heard anyone use the word "consolidate" while cooking....so unique!
Now with that said, I am doing an international festival project due wednesday and I am going to make scones, and you provided the perfect video! I will use this as a guide as I make them! Thank you! But is there a replacement for buttermilk just out of curiosity for health reasons (NOT a requirement just wondering...) Thanks from Nathan in Iowa, US!
Hi Nathan, I have a confession. I rarely use buttermilk in these scones. Almost any kind of milk can be used. I generally make do with ordinary pasteurised, semi-skimmed milk. 3½ tablespoons. Don't get it too sticky, like I did in the video. Good luck, Stuart, in Sussex, England
Mmmm...looks nice. I will try it later.

Could you please write out the ingredients, because I am having a hard time reading it and I am making them for my Dad for Father's day...? Thanks :)
