Haha, I went on Saturday and Sunday, and it was pretty awesome. I didn't see any team rocket cosplays this year :P I saw a long line of 8 male nurse joys, and a billion mikus... And a bunch of people who looked like they were at the wrong expo. Great video and I hope to go next year.

@saisayhai Actually, that pre-reg line is for everyone who bought their badge online. There's a separate line for people wanting to buy their badge on the day of the expo. Miku tickets, I'm pretty sure they give you those in the prereg line. I want miku tickets... ;_;

Basically, if you're 13 or older, you can do what you want without supervision, but anything denoted as 18+ will require an ID or something.

I just said that they mainly sell mass produced stainless steel swords that are of very little use to people looking to cut anything with it. I'm sure they sell actual forged blades if you look hard enough. Hence, the "Be sure you know what you're getting". :D

I agree on the food part :D my dad and I have been going to AX since '07 and we always pack food from home (usually sandwiches, chips, drinks and fruits, we bring a cooler too), we eat it on the car (just because) and we relax to take a break. So yeah the food over there are expensive, some are less pricey if you can find them but really, pack a lunch (healthy and not junk). And I gotta save up money (still more months to go, plenty of time just save.)

@mitihiru With my dad? He likes it, he enjoys seeing the cool stuffs that's around (pretty much because we go and see the concerts and main events every year; if you only go to the exhibit hall it'll be boring~)

My dad is a Voltron fan and an artist so it peaks its interest and plus he knows that I love learning about Japan since I was little (plus he knows that I like Yaoi) I thought it would be akward at first, but we actually have a great time together :)
