I'm no amp expert but if he's just got a couple of pedals and is slaving two '59 Bassman re-issues, it's one of the baddest and fattest tones ever...I recently sold my '59 Bassman to a buddy and he went crazy when he played through it....
Goodness, I want to know what kind of Irish Coffee to get-- so much more in a nut shell... as it should be-- two soldiers singing the blues with their bud's-- what a ride-- with rhythm section and so much more... bless you
Bobby Parker’s impact on the world of Rock & Roll is simply amazing. Check out his FB fan page at: “guitar blues legend bobby parker” and his website at bobby parker blues dot com... The bio tells an unbelievable story and is quoted by artists like Carlos Santana and Robert Plant. He’s SUPERBAD!
yeah man, this guy was a natural. He really was a lot like Hendrix. not afraid to cut loose, get lost, and then find his way back. always traveling through the song. they both could solo very far away from the main structure but knew exactly where they were and how to get back to the rhythm. I really like his wah wah pedal playing. the guy was totally aggressive all the time and had a serious case of the Blues. he's just shredding in this one.
I only got to see Little Jimmy ONE time live at BB King's in Memphis. It was the single most awesome thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life! This guy was like the missing link to the *real* blues.
Seriously - Have any of you cats ever HEARD a fender bassman turned up on 10? Its a monster!! Any real musician knows a video can't do real life justice. I *own* a Fender Bassman, and I can only imagine what this V sounds like cranked up through it. This guy was awesome beyond belief! RIP!!

man how can i get this on dvd ? I'ma huge lil jimmy fan and its just a shame more vids and more blues wasn't recorded by this man and I pray he gets all the recognition he and Gales deserves!!
OMG...this is so awesome!!!! I loved Little Jimmy King...he is so missed!! I feel blessed that I got to meet him & hear him!! Thanks so much for posting this!!! RIP LJK. :O( (Love Bobby Parker, too!!)
I don't recall Hendrix tunes when he sat in with the Unknowns, No doubt that would not be an issue for Jimmy, He was true to the art of blues and he played like he was dedicated to ever note..He has a twin brother and I couldn't tell them apart till jimmy whipped out his guitar and started throwing down...We got to be Beale street friends ..He and Albert King were close friends so it was no surprise to see Albert on Beale checking out the bands on the street..Those were the days my friend!
I don't recall what he played those nights, but Hendrix would not be an issue, he was dedicated to every note he played..We got to be Beale street friends and i relish those days..It was no surprise to see Albert King in the house ..He and jimmy were close..Those were the days my friend!
Thanks babyplease64 for the video, been a LJK fan since the first album.Only one i dont have yet is that live in L.A one from last year, have herd parts of all the songs on a website though.
Thank you for the support........Guitar Blues Legend Bobby Parker

I would have liked to see them trade off leads. Jimmy doesn't seem to even acknowledge that Bobby is there.
