  • Someone should explain to the Saudis that this was meant to be a joke.

  • And I couldn't care less about male comments about women being bad, most I don't believe are serious and even if they are, itdoesn't change the fact we are allowed to drive no matter how much you whine. :p

  • I agree with a comment made further up, there are so many responses like "women who get offended by this are retarded" and that sort of rubbish, but I can't find many comments actually saying anyone is offended. I'm a woman and I'm not offended, it's obvious it's a mockery of public service videos of the time.

  • Saudi Arabia dont let women drive. So they must still be in the 1930's

  • Saudi Arabia

  • Now they're texting as they drive O_O

  • @Reach1335 - Men do that too you know.

  • My brother Markus Bott had been tortured since 2004.He was assassinated on 11.7.09 by the German BND because of our homepage.

The BND which is the former GESTAPO had children being prepared by child molesters. These children were used to prepare blackmailing. At least one meeting was filmed and the person was forced to deliver information on tax evasion in a Liechtenstein bank. This information in 2008 was used in court without persecuting the BND perverts despite numerous reports in newspapers.

  • @wwwtotalitaerde I dont care go suicide...

  • @VentusOfficial In this case you may want to have a look at channel 18BND88

This is about German snitchers abroad undermining the local society to drain as much wealth as possible.

  • sunray=Some gay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @1346crecy Wow. You are hilarious. It has only taken you a few weeks but you come back to me with SUNRAY = GAY. Round of applause you boring man little man. Get a life. Yawn.... would love to stay and chat but God... this paint drying on my wall is thrilling compared to you. I might even come back in a few months to see if you have thought of any more hilarious insults. Or shall I give you a year or two? Is that long enough? Prick. Grow a pair. This is a comedy page. Learn to laugh !

  • @sunray1100 Well, well Sungay you are being quite cutting aren't you.Do some knitting or bake a cake for one of your many girlfriends that should lighten your mood a little!!

  • This is so funny...and also true...! Only joking....

  • @sunray1100 It's from a video game called skyrim; a game with dragons, magic, elves, and other such things. When a player walks past any town guard, in any town, the guards will all rarely comment that they used to be adveturers until they, each, individually took arrows to one of their knees. In the gaming community, the joke has fallen out of favor due to overuse and will often cause a quite negative response.

  • @Jumpingflashlight Aaaaahhhhh..... ok. Thanks. I have actually heard of the game but am not a "gamer" so wasn't aware of this saying until I seen it all over utube. But it makes me laugh.

  • It would be quite humorous if it wasn't so very very true

  • @sillybabybunnies shut up

  • Comment removed

  • Women used to be good drivers. Then they all took arrows to their knees.

  • @theawesome6842 lol !

  • @sunray1100 lol

  • @Jumpingflashlight Best comment yet. I have seen this "arrow to the knee" commment on every single utube video and it never fails to crack me up. Where the hell did it originate?

  • @Jumpingflashlight - but my mom's a better driver than most men... perhaps the arrow missed her? Whatever this vid was still funny.

  • If women ruled the world, we'd still be searching for the wheel.

  • @MrFlibble2011 "If women ruled the world we'd still be searching for the wheel" ???? You sure? We invented the bloody wheel. We had to find a way to carry all those drunken things around... what are they called again.. oh yeah.... men!

  • geeeeeee man, when are men going to get over it, some women drive better then mn and some men can't drive, its not abou ur sex bu just about u, dis vid is jokes by the way XD :)):))

  • @thesomebody3 dats right

  • LOL

  • To quote an old saying....In life there are lies, dam lies and statistics!!!!!!!!

  • The funny thing is that statistically women get in so fewer wrecks than men that they're considering passing laws to higher the driving age for men, but not women. xD

  • @ParadoxPerspective Statistically men drive more than women, so yes, your statistics seem to be in order...Oh...wait.

  • Hahahahahahahahahaha funny.

  • Solid sound advice from a bygone age.Who could possibly disagree with this?.They should also add womens inability to read maps and reverse a car into anything smaller than a football pitch!!!(There that should do it)

  • @1346crecy women are always on their mobile phones and doing their make up when driving i should know i'm a women and have had countless accident whilst chatting to the girls about Peter Andre and handbags

  • @gamster68 You are a man and you know it - and WE know it. Fool.

  • @gamster68 And surely accidents caused by pointing out curtains in other peoples houses as your driving past to your partner saying"now they're the ones I want for the bedroom"!!!

  • @1346crecy Hahaha! Silly fool. Funny though. But as you are gay yourself, you probably have better taste in curtains than any other woman driver I know.

  • oh, who gives a toss, MasterC SX, its funny.

  • " The drivers side. Oh dear. The WRONG side "

  • whats the music at the start called

  • WIMMIN - get back to your sowing and crocheting in your drawing room, and keep off the roads, for pity's sake!

  • "oh blow it im gonna have a try"

  • they should just pass a law were women can only stay at the kitchenor bedroom none else!!!

  • keep them off the road for fuck sake.

  • @Fightgroth add misandry to your little list of sins as well

  • Utterly priceless!!

  • Who is the actress? It's driving me crazy trying to remember!

  • It wouldn't be funny if there wasn't an element of truth to it.

  • This holds true for even today. Women are still the worst drivers. I've seen where a woman has put a truck up a tree. Now tell me how the hell you put a Big rig with a trailer hitched on it up a tree?........upside down??

  • @MasterCSX I think if you look at factual statisitcs you will definitely find that MEN cause more accidents. In the UK men aged 17 - 24 years old have to pay almost 3 times the amount of other age groups in car insurance. The reason being that very same thing - they cause more accidents. Insurance company's will happily admit this fact very openly when horrified parents try to challenge the extortionate cost of their son's first car insurance.Anyway - this is just a comedy sketch - UST LAUGH !

  • @sunray1100 not in 1936 they didn't

  • @gamster68 Well, I work in car insurance my darling... but what the hell... I can tell you quite categorically MEN pay up to 3 times more because they cause and are involved in many more accidents than women. Merry Christmas. And if YOU are a man please DON'T drink and drive this Christmas because a whopping 93% of all drink /drive deaths and injuries in 2009 /. 2010 were caused by ... YOU GUESSED IT... MEN !!! Horrific.

  • @sunray1100 Yes and that's because it is women's reckless driving that causes men to take evasive action causing men to have accidents!!!!!......(Isn't this fun!!)

  • @1346crecy Yes this IS fun! So - as a gay man, what colour curtains would YOU pick out whilst driving along the road?

  • @sunray1100 Is that it? Your idea of an insult?Gay silly fool. No let me help you....You are an uptight no nothing rug-munching cunt who should stay where she belongs THE KITCHEN!!!!!!!!!..Yes this is fun isn't it!!!!

  • Danica Patrick can drive...The rest of women i'm not so sure about.

  • Yes to below

  • Is the actor in this sketch the same one who plays Mrs. Grayson in the Chomondley-Warner sketches?

  • The driver's side, the wrong side!

  • oh dear... here comes a WOMAN!

THAT LOOKS LIKE AN UNUSUAL KITCHEN?

  • LOL it's so true! I mean yeah there are a few exceptions but most of the close calls I've been in while driving all had to do with a woman driving. Especially the ones in SUVs.

  • HERE COMES A WOMAN....

  • "...But I know about embroidery and kittens! Won't that suffice?" LOL

  • lol

  • Lol i think certain people are missing the point of "comedy" on here stop being pathetic

  • I know this is a joke but all it's doing is perpetuating the negative stereotype that women can't drive when women drive just as well as men.

  • @MegaWinnieGirl I dunno. A video that treats "women are bad drivers" as a joke seems much better than, say, a video that treats "women are bad drivers" as completely serious...

  • @MonarchoftheFen But..No video about women being bad drivers is better.

  • It is hilarious we say men are better drivers while they by large created the most accidents, crimes and violence across the globe. Women are safer and damn right they are! Us (ruthless) men should learn a little more subtleness, safety, care and patience!!!

  • @royalsteven Women cause more accidents than men. Women commit less crime because it's hard to commit one when they cannot leave the kitchen. As for violence, women are just as violent as men. If you're a man, you're a disgrace mate. Seriously it's obvious you've been dominated by women because you're a pussy. Just kill yourself, you don't deserve to be a man, faggot.

  • Ahehehe sure just because I stand up for women I am a pussy. You seem to have the old idea of men who shouldn't cry, should never be emotional, should beat their wives, should be sexist....!?!?!?! Go ahead, be a man that women despise :D One thing women love, is a man who understands them and listens to them!?!?!?! Luckily I was raised to respect women as equals and not to disrespect and take advantage of them!!! I take example from the Messiah Jesus who did the same. More men should.

  • @royalsteven Respect buddy this world needs more people like you !

  • Thanks, I applaud you for understanding! :D

  • Learn how to deal with your frustrations, anger and stereotype ideas about men and women before it causes problems. I know I did :D

  • @royalsteven this beta suck-up routine will never get you laid.

  • It will get you intelligent quality women, not dumb easy desperate women.

  • @royalsteven Well, be sure not to let that quality babe parallel park your car. In all honesty, Steven, I am a woman, I don't like macho jerks anymore than anyone else, but I cannot stand this "why can't we evil men be kind and gentle! If there were a matriarchy there would be no wars!" routine. I know guys who do that are trying to be decent and "sensitive", but it just comes off as phoney ass-kissing, and only insecure women like it. BTW, women drivers cause fewer catastophic accidents, but...

  • @royalsteven ...far more minor ones, because what they lack in testosterone they make up for in poor spacial skills.

  • I would also advice you to watch Arkady, he has good views on this. You said I never get laid being me. Like the world revolves around it. Like I cannot be friends with women either. Like being a nice man who treats everyone with respect is a bad thing. I wish more men did this. Men rule the world. It is a world dictated by power hungry men (dictators) who discriminate and abuse women. The statistics speak for them selves. We need more love and equality.

  • What does it do to deny the facts? We have to solve them. Ever heard of the Equal Rights Admendment? Or the National Organization For Women? Or the Universal Declaration of Human Rights who adopted the equal rights of men and women only in 1948? Better to adress the problems than sticking your head in the sand. You don't know what qualities men look for. Maybe I don't want the type a stereotype macho male goes for but more look for intelligence and spirituality. We're not all the same.

  • Comment removed

  • @Fightgroth But that's why its good because we then know who they are.

  • A message that women I'm afraid heed there.

  • For fuck sake, these videos are made as a joke. Harry Enfield is a Comedian, and as many Comedians he realised that the greatest level of humour was within the controversial. There's that other famous Comedian who does it with Racism, Al Murray does it with British Elitism and Joe Brand is sexist against Men (though how much of that is actually a joke, frankly I don't like her too much).

He's creating humour for humour's sake. He's not declaring war on Females all around the world.

  • This video is a joke, stop taking it so seriously, haha.

  • Men...Women... We are different and it's normal. And we can't live without each other. About drivers: you can find very bad drivers both among men and women, I think it doesn't depend on sex

  • @Vu0r1 No its because their brains are smaller...lol!

  • I used to travel alot by the bus and 99% or something of bus drivers here are men. But one day I had a woman driver and she was driving incredebly smoother than the ordinary ones. And also the number of women driving has increased rapidly here over the past years meanwhile the number of traffic accidents has dropped.

True story and statistics but I see it coming how a bunch of retards' fingers are tickling to argue me... Don't bother I won't answer.

  • @wowza191 Sexism is nothing but a stupid expression of not getting laid.

  • This video is just so darn cool! And, I hate to say it, but honestly, If women were'nt allowed to drive, my job would be sooo much easier!...lol Seriously though, I realize that this is just a parody targeted towards women... I really don't care about that though, it's still insanely funny!

  • Amen!

  • @Fightgroth Yes and no. I think the joke is on larger society as a whole, and not necessarily aimed at men. Remember, women played into those roles as well, and still do. My wife failed her driving test THREE times before she passed. To this day, I get a little nervous when she's behind the wheel. It's not because I'm "sexist" - of course there are many fantastic female drivers who know way more about cars than I do. However, there is (almost) always some truth to every stereotype.

  • @Fightgroth Hear Hear!

  • it's funny cos it's true

  • surely he's takin the piss out of the men of that generation, that thought women could'nt drive.Mind you, they do have different spacial awareness properties!!

  • For those that don't understand:

This sketch is not making fun of women, it's making fun of the broadcasters who used to air vapid (and frequently sexist/racist) "educational" documentaries.

  • so funny, i love Harry Enfield

  • yeah what happened to the old humour. You couldnt have a show like this now cas everyone would sue you for having a laugh

  • HAHAHA fucking funny. my dad did that once, ( drive the car backwards) haha

  • @errorafterdark You wrote MOTHER wrong.

  • @paunocu Oh haha, very funny. My sister can drive better than me and she is 13 XD I am not a girl :) for fucks sake. I believe in equality. and Im male.

  • @errorafterdark If you believe in equality, and your 13 yo sister can drive better than you, you are definitely not male!

  • i am part oof that 0.000001%. Hamburgers.

  • @Stevo6452 More like the 50% of idiocy.

  • lol. I just crack up every time I hear the man in the background say "Here comes a woman".

  • it's just comedy for god's sake...people seriously need to lighten up!

  • haha women are stupid

  • LOL. Fail. :)

  • The car isn't dented...

  • Most of the people who take this sketch offensively are feminists, and from shattered broken upbringings and primarily from North America.

  • @carpdiem88 Actually they are Saudi Arabian women..

  • Comment removed

  • Those who think this is sexist are missing the point - life in 'those' days WAS very openly sexist (and racist etc.) and that was no joke. This joke in this sketch is obviously not supposed to be at the expense of women, but on the outdated attitudes it portrays.

  • @ooo1uk1981 Doesn't change the fact most women can't drive worth a damn.

  • @AdventureHayes I think yahoo comments has even worse :P

  • It's funny because it's true.

  • HOW do you screw up reverse and first THAT badly with a manual transmission!?

  • so many comments about telling people to chill and not be offended...and yet i cant find one comment of anyone saying that their offended by this ^^

  • this video is so ridiculous that i find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that anyone can take it seriously. i mean, it' s got its own laugh track, for fuck's sake!! shouldn't that signify that it's meant as a comedy piece??

  • @AdventureHayes

"It's almost as though there is a certain brand of retard that only exists on youtube"

This comment my friend, hits the nail squarely on the head. Well said.

  • @mjlambert80 YOU RANG??

  • In Britain we have an ability to poke fun at ourselves, and thank god for it. I can't think of many successful comedy programmes that don't rely on the main character being a parody or exaggeration of some kind, or to some extent.Alf Garnett? Victor Medlrew? Basil Faulty? Del Boy? David Brent? They're all taking the micky out of people who are like this in real life.

  • So funny to see people debate sexism on the strength of a made up sketch parodying public information films from decades ago that, in terms of 'Women - Know Your Limits' didn't ACTUALLY exist.

  • Its not taking the piss out of women, its taking the piss out of male chauvinism. Get it?

  • They'll be after the vote next, you mark my words.

  • That's not the driver's side you English bastard!

  • Stop having intellectual discussions about women's rights on this video! For pity's sake, it's a comedy sketch. COMEDY! Laugh. Now.

  • 68 people were offended hahahah you sad wankers its ok when they portray men in adverts to be dumb and useless though eh..you cunts fuck off

  • Comment removed

  • 68 women dont know their limits

  • I showed this to my girlfriend. Unfortunately, no one told her that kicking her man in the bollocks is unladylike.

  • @gunnersaurus17 She did that? What strange behaviour. If my boyfriend had shown me this I would probably have thrown myself at him (No sarcasm involved).

  • Comment removed

  • @AdventureHayes And that brand is called the troll, you chauvinist moron.

  • Comment removed

  • I see you Martin from The Parent Trap.

  • Hey ladies, maybe this is can be taken as a jokey retaliation to that entire film written by a woman on stirring up the male stereotype, it's called "The Ugly Truth."

Can women really complain? I mean, really?

  • @Ethanace Agreed! Feminists have no sense of irony or hypocrisy. They are all two faced and sexist.

  • @Maxshard no true feminist is sexist because the definition of feminist is wanting equality between all sexes.

  • @BurnSpangler Women have had equal righs to men for decades and lying feminists continue to falsely whine and lie. allegedly on women's behalf. They will never stop lying because most of them are brainwashed freeloading members of a sick anti-society cult, that invents discrimination where it simply doesn't exist.

Point out where women don't have equal rights please. They sure as hell get more rights when it comes to divorce and discrimination against men in the police force, for example.

  • Enfield sends up chauvanism and ridicules it with his fake Public Information Films. The trouble is that American humour is almost denuded of satire, which is why the US has to import so many commedians from Canada. But yeah, the canned laughter should be a clue for even the most ardent neanderthal or feminist.

  • @scottishboomerang So true. It amazes me how many people (seemingly American) don't understand satire and irony.

"A common feature of satire is strong irony or sarcasm—"in satire, irony is militant"[2]—but parody, burlesque, exaggeration, juxtaposition, comparison, analogy, and double entendre are all frequently used in satirical speech and writing. This "militant" irony or sarcasm often professes to approve (or at least accept as natural) the very things the satirist wishes to attack."

  • @Relugus thats just how i would av put it nice

  • Many Americans don't "get" British comedy because of the dry humor. But people should recognize this as "comedy" because of the inserted laugh tracks.

  • Oh my God! I am completely shocked by the amount of apparent Feminists who don't appear to get this! It is a well observed and hilariously funny perspective of a point in history. I'm not sure whether there is an advantage at having been brought up in an era of mass unemployment, serious political unrest and natural/manmade disasters in terms of thinking beyond the obvious. If that's the case, we have a new batch of brainies on their way. Women/ Know your limits!

  • Comment removed

  • This sketch does not imply and sexist connotations whatsoever. It is taking the views of the english in the 20's and 30's and taking them to a slightly higher level. People need to lighten up, laugh and if people take this stuff seriously, thn it shows how backward society is becoming.

  • 0:24 "yes, but this isn't a .... my dear" can someone tell me what he says plz?

  • @Gian092 He says "Yes, but this isn't a drawing room, my dear"

  • @ahuds

    thanks

  • i quite like the idea of being chaufuerred by a woman..at least you can tell her where to go and the correct gear to be in when approaching roundabouts. im sure they would never have accidents with proper male tuition and you could give them a quick slap if they try to use their mobile phones as alot of them drive around with phones to their pretty little ears nowadays...

  • its sposed to be comedy, lighten up ffs, a full blown discussion pmsl

  • im not saying women shouldnt drive but they shouldnt drive suvs that are often too big for them to handle

  • so its sorted , get the bitches out of the cars now !

  • haha, ITS funny because ITS TRUE!!!

  • 63 women dont know which side of the car she should sit in

  • @AdventureHayes I think the YouTube troll's a class of its own... Personally, I don't feed them.

  • It's taking the fucking piss out of when women were treated like stupid shits

  • @cLouisey I rather suspect that it is disguised that way to have a go at hypocritical man hating feminists.

Do you ever think we will see a corresponding time when all those man hating adverts portraying men as being inferior to women will be equally ridiculed, or are you yet another gender obssesed feminist or 'mangina' with no no sense of irony and no caring for the fair treatment of all people?

  • @Maxshard As a male I have to say that what you have typed is a load of old bollocks.

  • @TheSolitaryHeart Sorry but I cannot help your blindness and ignorance to facts that are staring you in the face if you watch TV.

There are even letter writing groups that write to advertisers complaining about their anti-male sexism and broadcasting wathdogs receive many letters from both men and women complaining.

My mother & sister-in-law object to them too, on the grounds that the story lines are so childish that women's apparent addiction to them leaves women looking infantile..

  • @Maxshard "anti-male sexism and broadcasting wathdogs receive many letters from both men and women complaining."

As a man I don't care. I have better things to concern myself with in my life. And there are far more important issues going on in the world. If you want to look at gender issues then the treatment of women in Saudi Arabia and Iran is far more important- and that's just one issue.

  • @TheSolitaryHeart I don 't believe you are a male and your mindless attitude to what you regard as 'racist' nursery rhymes sums you up. Another self flagellating marxist fool.

Everything that people like you claim to oppose, you stand for, and more importantly, everything you claim to object to, you support. You have made it crystal clear that you couldn't care less about men's rights or equality.

Why not go to Saud or Iran to complain if that's how you feel, you utter hypocrite?

  • @Maxshard "Why not go to Saud or Iran to complain if that's how you feel, you utter hypocrite?"

It's this thing you may of heard of it and it doesn't go on trees. It's called money. "People like me" Seriously get a life or get laid. One of the two.

  • What people like YOU need is a good hard slap.
