  • When Hyper-V has acces directly to hardware also means for example the graphics card?

  • Well, with the latest Intel processors, the technology is there to allow complete access to hardware, including GPUs, at almost native speed. I'm not sure Hypet-V in its current form supports access to GPUs, though.

  • ummm.. you called AMD's processor an "Operton". It's spelled and pronounced "Opteron"....

  • Thank you for your comment. I stand humbly corrected.

  • no prob :) btw - from that I've seen, all AMD dual cores are able to run Hyper-V - including the X2's.

I'm running Hyper-V under Windows Server 2008 (x64) on my Dell Studio 17 (intel T5750). It's pretty slick.
