Dude this song gets off on a horrible start.  And I say that knowing very well I can't play any better than you. But the rest of the song is KICK ASS. It's just that few first seconds don't do justice to the rest of the song. This was a really great cover.

I would say just the 6-16 second mark. Just those few quick notes. After that the song is gold. I like the bridge where you kind of duel back and forth, too. I'm a big fan of the string quartet fall out boy tribute, and to me this is 100x better because it incorporates more than just the strings...there's actual guitars and percussion, you have a good thing going with this. You should put an MP3 up or something.

Overall this is still pretty cool. I wasn't feelin the chorus interpretation so much, i really just wanted to hear the melody instead of an awkward harmony that sounded a bit off key. But the riffs you play during the verses and the final chorus are a pretty awesome addition. Well there goes my idea of coverin this string-quartet style, mite still do it, but prob not. keep jammin yo.

loll I've been playing for almost 12 years now. It takes practice to get really good and it depends on the person when they master an instrument.  For some it takes a few years while for others it takes a lifetime.

Im a violin teacher and honestly you arnt hitting the right notes haha sounds like your just kinda shooting for it. everyone on here is like drooling that its a VIOLIN but they have no idea how simple this really is. Also "What a Catch, Donnie" could have an amazing violin part and "Headfirst Slide into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet" is an amazing song. good beat in the intro and perfect cadences n the piano part.
