Depression, anxiety and disappointment seem to be the going price for Transitioning. Life gets in the way of our dreams and our illusions. The truth is that Transitioning, SRS, FSS even being totally stealth can't make you happy and free from depression. It is a conscience effort to do all that is necessary to make your happiness a priority in your life. In other words you must first decide to be happy. Maghan you are right going to see a therapist is the first step in deciding to be happy.
When I feel down, I try to remind myself of the things that have gone right in my life. Sometimes, it is really hard to keep on going. I almost didn't make it when both of my parents completely disowned me for coming out as TS. Whatever, life is too short to hang out with toxic people, no?
Megahn!! Beautiful dress got to go shopping.Depression hot topic.I am undergoing theraphy.I have good days and bad days. I am Trans & a survivour of sexual abuse, assult and rape. Know first hand how debilitating it can get.Your suggestion about seeking help is a very wise one. Only a trained pro can help when you are messed up mentally.Glad you are there, when i listen to you it takes some of the pain & pressure out of my life. You are compassionnate & kind.Thank`s for being you.Hugg&kiss Bye!
I can certainly appreciate the hair paranoia thing, Meghan. I think you're probably a little young to be worrying. You should do some research on the side effects of treatments like minoxidil. I wouldn't know how it might affect transsexual ladies, but--it worked for me. I'm a 48 year old guy and I caught the bald spot at the crown straight away and applied 5% minoxidil and within six weeks it was virtually undetectable.
Hello Meghan! You look fabulous! I think you should let your hair be curly! If you want to add volume( on a budget) get some Natural Instincts semi hair color...I think I rich warm brown would look wonderful on you..or even a golden tone...It will add some bounce to your hair..and you won't break the bank or have roots! Shoulder length hair with some layers will would be sassy on you too!
You look great. Spiro or other anti-adrogens usually stops the hair loss and often reverses the recent past losses. Our vanity can be our second worst enemy - you don't have to worry about your hair blowing off or it comming off in a pool. Ask a hairdresser when you get the ends trimed if they will show you how to tease to add some volume. A lot of GGs have folicular problems also so enjoy the life you have attained. Where is Jeanie- maybe both our dreams materilize. Can't wait for a new mike.
Depression can be seasonal, and moving from a low-light area can resolve the problem. If you find that you are dragging throughout a long winter, then you may have seasonal depression.
If you feel enveloped in darkness even on nice bright days, you probably should see a physician.
Transwomen sometimes trigger depression by having their androgen blockers too high.

I always adored your long brunette hair. If your father has no baldness more then likely you will not either.
You're doing awesome! Keep moving forward. One day at a time.

You could have gotten Converse All-Stars!
That top must mean spring has arrived.

Perfect way of describing depression ...
I'd say with your hair, you should try highlights ... just don't do it yourself ... just say no to home highlights!
