I think this game plays best at just two players, then you're not so much at the wim of the bulk of other players. If you play with a lot of players, most of the outcome is left to chance, as the other players will often have snatched what is to snatch, and you depend on getting exactly the right cards for the task.
With more players, the game would no doubt be humorous. It's just that any one player's ability to plan ahead is reduced to a minimum. The winner is then decided merely by luck.
I love this game but haven't played in a long time. I need to track down a copy!
