  • So a light load then!

  • Dont really know what the fuss is all about with this video. There was no 'Full Thrash' as you call it. She took the very small train with ease & without any undue use of normal power. These rebuilt 37s did far, far more than this in normal traffic use EVERY day. I would see & hear them leaving Margam, passing Margam, & attacking Stormy Bank with heavy steel trains on a daily basis.

  • @arieskeith1447 The loco was hauling 7 fully loaded Mk1s, a 4 wheel van and a dead Pannier tank and is shown climbing a 1 in 80 gradient from a 5mph PSR on the Dee Bridge. This climb is sustained for two miles, including through a lengthy single bore tunnel. OK, it ain't a Llanwern steel train on Stormy Bank, but this is about as good as you'll get in Pres!

  • beast! hoping to ride behind that one day!

  • GOOD CALL!! Great vid.

  • Hmm. Not really that funny for us though tbh - we lost quite a bit of cash when she left - we were still recouping funds used for the overhaul. Hope she's being taken good care of!
