  • first fight ... misss miss miss tap tap miss got a punch run away miss.... BOOM HEADSHOT

  • hwoarang and baek

  • korean? a lot of Russian speech in the background. Also, I'd say their dependence on the front leg is very WTF-ish, but I guess that's a matter of personal preference.

  • r they all north korean? if so, it would be worth the visit. just hv to ditch my american passport n dress like a canadian

  • head butts are not alowd. that looked accidental. these dudes are very skilled ITF all the way. WTF is stupid. WTF stands for Whiny Tiny Faggots.

  • totally had that coming....he never kept his hands up :) great video!!!!

  • Who won in the end?

  • Comment removed

  • if u look exactly when it knocks the guy out see a flash meaning some toke a photo... gotta be one nice photo =D

  • What?!?! Another head butt in 04:07!!!

Is head butt allowed in Korea tkd??

  • i don't see the 04:07 head butt i see the first at 00:56 a 360 doleo.

  • No es un cabezazo, es un golpe de puño

  • So why head butt???

  • So fast, these guys are awesome, speed and control

  • 3:52 I saw a head butt....

I am not a TKD person so I dun know...

    Is that allow??

  • no its not.

BTW that was a bad ass tornado kick from the first match.

  • all i can say is, who is in the olympics and who isnt ......

    end of.

  • WTF is and ITF isnt

  • exactly..

  • tkd is not a sport but a martial art

  • its all i can say ;)

  • oh what a wonderful hurricane kick at 0:56

and since it was so good and its itf, lets penalise him for it =) yay.

    wtf!?

  • tornado kick

  • ITF is no better than WTF in that it is NOT realistic fighting. The fighters have their hands down and do a lot of feet switching, something which wouldn't be good in a real right.

  • dude do you have any understanding of taekwondo at all? and particularly sparring? no need to state the obvious that their techniques are bad for real fighting, sparring is a sport!!! and the competitors have low guard to try and coach the other fighter into an attack that they can easily counter, or so thats the plan. SPARRING side of taekwondo and SELF DEFENCE side of taekwondo, are different okay.

  • btw i ment coax not coach

  • of course sparring isnt the best for fighting, neither is tennis, football, swimming or any other SPORT arent good for fighting scenarios. so many people with so little understanding.

  • ummmm woot? i understand that competition fighting isn't really practical in this style but your still learning how to read peoples body language and movement which would work in a one on one street confrontation but obviously wouldn't really work in a bar situation. but wat dos tennis football or swimming have to do with it. just because this is sport fighting dosnt mean it shouldn't be able to work bcos boxing UFC K1 max are sports but they i think would do well in a fighting scenario

  • yes your right. i'm just saying that sparring isnt intended for street fighting, hence its not menta be good for self defence because it doesnt have to be. because the actual self defence side of tkd is for that. but yer your right about ufc etc.

  • @rickstar3211

Still, believe it or not I would hypothesize that sparring would be a little bit useful for fighting compared to being able to do tennis, football, and swimming don't you think?

  • muy thai guys would kill these losers.

  • ITF is the true taekwondo

WTF good too but they wont let u punch in the head n stuff so most of the time people forget they have hands n they never use them...

  • well at least in WTF we dont get point deductions for "hitting them too hard" lol.

i mean its a fight come on.. lame much?

on tha up side i do think its cool in ITF how u can use backfist techniques, so not all bad

  • yeah true

it would be soo good if they make new rules on sparring like anything goes except taking down and grabbing

  • haha ye that'd be so awsum. or at least another style of sparring where u can (as you said) do any taekwondo technique at all, and maybe then show people more of the self defence side. but at the same time, i love (WTF) sparring jus the way it is =) tho options for otha stuff wudnt hurt

  • yeah WTF parring is good

but where i train my master wont let us hit in the head :/ it sux =(

he dosent want us to get hurt but styll its soo boring. He wants us to learn how to K.O without hitting the head.

  • ITF is all about control and being able to win without going crazy. Something you probably wouldnt understand.

  • yeh yeh look i respect your art and all and its still good, but like i'm not seeing the passion in sparring. and what is control without power? nothing. look at it this way, would you rather fight a fire with a water pistol and be dead acurate, or be a little more off and have a fire truck? know what i'd rather.

  • well if my art is a "water pistol" and your art is a "fire truck".. Than a water pistol is obviously more effective than a fire truck. every itf v wtf match i have ever seen = wtf guy owned. I'm sorry but at the end of the day control is a lot better than power because to have control you have to have more power than if you just went wild in the first place. Its called conditioning. and it makes itf practitioners more powerful. Wtf has speed not power.

  • i dont know but, when its itf vs wtf, i bet its itf rules.... and i am going to say they are both equal excpet sparring is alot different. and u claim we are un accurate etc etc when we are just as accurate only we have full contact sparring. and maybe it seems out of control to you but its just faster paced

  • and btw i aint trying to have a go at your art, was just saying i dont agree with some aspects

  • Super quick Ax kick in the beginning!

  • did he just headbutt that guy?

  • Wow nice tornado kick ^^

  • This is TRUE TKD.

    WTF has nothing on this.

  • Yes, this is TK-D as General Choi intended.

WTF kicks are somewhat faster (they snap the kicks, after all) but the ITF kicks are considerably more powerful.

Muay Thai kicks have nothing on properly-executed ITF kicks where power is concerned. It does, however, take a great deal of strength and technical training to execute the ITF TK-D kicks, as shown here.

  • Well in my ITF class we also snap out our kicks, but we also use the rotation of the body in coordination with that snapping, which produces the power from swinging the leg like in muay thai, but also the muscular power from snapping out the leg.

  • sept for liek everything lol

  • LOL! that first guys eyes were bleeding!

  • very cool ^.^
