@ThePs3pwnage ACTUALLY, the game is developed by Adhesive games, which I might add, has only 12 developers. It took them 9 months to make what you see, and as for Epic? Adhesive games got a license to use their engine (Unreal engine), but Epic is no where near this game. This goes to show you how much shit video games we put up with .

@TheOGofgames I played Mechwarrior 1 through 4 and a few other mech fighting titles, and while this does look good, I expect more of a Shattered Steel like or Mechwarrior 4 like game, the actual huge groundstomping bots like in Mechwarrior 3 and Steel Batallion are nowhere to be seen so far. They may still implement them but I doubt it.
when you start this video pause it right before the adhesive games logo goes off the screen, open a new youtube tab and search celldweller by wings of icarus, then go back and mute this video and play celldweller while watching this video. turst me it sounds fuckin sweet.
@mysticblade35 I ment the Mechwarrior Reboot.. the 3 was a typo (though it is kind of funny seeing as MW 4 was my first game in the series) They did a trailer for it that had gameplay in 2009 and then nothing was ever mentioned again.
Some of the people who worked on Project Offset moved to develop Hawken! Sadly Project Offset is cancelled. Check Project Offset's tech demos though they are really good.
The movements of the mechs look really shitty in this video. I know they are still working hard on it though, so I will give them my support and will keep an eye on this game. Hopefully they can pull this off like Mechwarrior did.

It's refreshing because you're literally the first and only person who's into Halo without the main reason being "it's awesom game bro." When I think about Halo, I'm forced to also consider what the fans are also playing. But, you're right, games like CoD just breed Homefront.

@TheAliasGaming if you want some info about hawken its been showed at e3 and g4TV.com has info on it ,also the objective based game types called siege you basically grab minerals from dead guys to build into a giant battleship to destroy the enemy's base
@TheAliasGaming in a G4 interview they said there was a seige mode. Each team has a base but the mechs cannot hurt the base. Players must gather resources and bring them back to base to build a battleship that can destroy the base. But enemy players can sink the battleship. (or knock out of the sky or whatever)
Hmm. This game will flop. It is a typical first person shooter only this time you are "INSIDE A MECH... COOL!".
None of the gameplay looks original in the video. The new MechWarrior will be a MUCH better mech game. This game looks fast paced and Call of Duty-ish. Placeable turrets? Cant come up with anything else?
Close quarters maps and fast guns/gameplay = more of the same old crap. Skip this one and wait for the new MechWarrior
Only thing that the cockpit of the mechs look like is Gungriffon Blaze and that was a classic game not a call of duty piece of crap. It looks like a great mech game that should have been done a Long time ago! Only thing missing from what I can tell would be a armor color system to represent your mech. Hope they use a system like Chrome hounds for that.

i always look for game that truly care about an immersive universe and a immersive setting , ive seen the gameplay of this game , and its awesum. Hopefully this game has an awesum story since thats what i look for in FPS especially, multiplayer is ok but that might get my full attention in this game. halo and battlefield are the only things i play but this game. this game might get my full attention!
No regenerating health, strafe and boost FPS gameplay, clustered map design with tiers and traps... this... THIS is the kind of FPS that we used to play before CoD. I've been so anti-Halo/Gears/etc ever since the genre became over-saturated with space marine ooorah internet tough guys, unfun and unfair ~boring~ games that didn't give you a reason to want to be absorbed in it... But this is like Armored Core and Mechwarrior ran a train on Phantom Dust. My faith is being restored by this footage.

None of the gameplay looks original in the video. The new MechWarrior will be a MUCH better mech game. This game looks fast paced and Call of Duty-ish. Placeable turrets? Cant come up with anything else?
Close quarters maps and fast guns/gameplay = more of the same old crap. Skip this one and wait for the new MechWarrior

Only thing that the cockpit of the mechs look like is Gungriffon Blaze and that was a classic game not a call of duty piece of crap. It looks like a great mech game that should have been done a Long time ago! Only thing missing from what I can tell would be a armor color system to represent your mech. Hope they use a system like Chrome hounds for that.

@littlec916 Yeah everyone, skip this amazing effort by a small group of obviously devout giant robot fans to breathe new life into the genre, and wait for a game that's been in legal trouble, stopped production twice, and hasn't been heard from in years. Supporting the genre as a whole, or a small group of developers just like the ones making the new Mechwarrior game, isn't worth it at all, or good for the genre. Not at all. Seriously. Don't do it.

all past mech games were really horrible.
maybe this one will be better. it has really good graphs, animations, good environment details. it looks great.
but it seems it is a multiplayer game. i hope they will make a good scenario and single player mode too.

Cockpit view is nice, but the rest is meh. If it had destructive landscape like in Bad Company 2 then it would've been great.

i always look for game that truly care about an immersive universe and a immersive setting , ive seen the gameplay of this game , and its awesum. Hopefully this game has an awesum story since thats what i look for in FPS especially, multiplayer is ok but that might get my full attention in this game. halo and battlefield are the only things i play but this game. this game might get my full attention!

No regenerating health, strafe and boost FPS gameplay, clustered map design with tiers and traps... this... THIS is the kind of FPS that we used to play before CoD. I've been so anti-Halo/Gears/etc ever since the genre became over-saturated with space marine ooorah internet tough guys, unfun and unfair ~boring~ games that didn't give you a reason to want to be absorbed in it... But this is like Armored Core and Mechwarrior ran a train on Phantom Dust. My faith is being restored by this footage.

@OMGmyFACE what do you expect , Halo is an epic FPS , of course others will clone something similar to halo , they want the same success. Most of the FPS that are similar to halo are actually big hits. what you should be getting on is COD , that franchise is ruining FPS and others are copying it and making terrible FPS games. I do like the fact that they are bringing something new and fresh to the FPS genre ,but halo, resistance,gears,killzone, those game are true FPS games they make the genre.

@milontua All of the popular titles you mentioned copying something based on its success pretty much guarantees there's no integrity in today's shooters. Besides, what's popular doesn't always mean what's good. If you can say Killzone and Gears are "true FPS," it shows your age. Says you don't remember or weren't around for id or 3DRealms. Not trying to antagonize you or anything but you can't say "CoD is ruining the genre but these others aren't" when they're all the exact same.

@OMGmyFACE your exactly right i wasnt around for id or 3d realms, although im an adult now,i grew up playing Halo,which immersed me about halo was its universe/story.Im very picky on what kinda shooters i get they have to have be fantastic,and i have yet to find another shooter that can immerse me like halo does.COD does the complete oppositte of what a shooter should be,the other titles i mention , try to innovate and create fantastic worlds that immerse the player thats striving to be better.
