  • I think the name of the friend from the orphanage was Helen.

  • who is that in the mirror?

  • I saw the film;very impressed by it and the way of acting of Michael Fassbender.Sensitive poetic movie.

  • What was the reflection at 0:08? It completely freaked me out, and it's gone at 1:30!

  • @chocolatte04 Oh gosh that freaked me out too! Then I realized it's Helen. She seems to appear in the deleted scenes a lot as a representation of how her past follows her, or perhaps that she is a bit like her guardian angel/spirit like she talked about before.

  • @chocolatte04 that freaked me out to. is it Bertha? Don't know what she is doing there though

  • @chocolatte04 it was her dead friend. it shows how leaving rochester is a metaphorical death for her, because the ghost comes back to her then. creepy, but effective.

  • I think this scene is beautiful but they probably had to cut it because it's really far from what happened in the book and gives a different fell to the movie.

  • Great scene. So Rochester. They did Fassy a disservice by cutting this out. It adds a lot to his performance.

  • Thank you for posting these!

  • I truly do not think I would have had Jane's stenght. Not at all. I wonder why they deleted such good scenes...

  • @GeekGirl1977 I think it was because of length. I remember reading the original film would've been about 3 hours long.
