He also plays all the saxes. Check out his big band CD 'Snappy Doo'. He played ALL of the sax, trumpet, & bone parts! Simply amazing!

Interestingly enough, he started learning piano before trumpet, and he doesn't really think in terms of keys when he's improvising he just plays it by ear.

To add to his genius, he has to transcribe all of the chords and notes he's playing on the piano to the key of Bb to play them on the trumpet. Amazing!
