  • When Stoop Dude sent the drawing, why is Rob in it??? He didn't even go with them....

  • Spike lee? Get the F outta here!

  • i think SD wants to be snoop dog LOL

  • the sad thing is spike lee did better acting in this then he did in his movies.

  • question: how does he know where lenni lives? that is just a creeper right there.

  • I feel this series should be called "To catch a creep" haha. A dude pretending to be 16.

  • Notice how all the girls are wearing braids in this part?

  • So there's an emotionally disturbed grown ass man threatening children...thats an interesting episode idea... lol

  • stoop kid's afraid to leave his stoop!

  • "A boat is like a little ship."

    FUCKING GENIUSES

  • And to be more precise, a ship is like a big boat.

  • lenni would be so hot if she just never spoke out loud

  • @jayseize1 lol

  • Spike Lee lookz like an alien space nerd! LOL

  • I love Jamal and Alex :)...

  • STOOOP DUUDE this kind of character are so....

  • Spike Lee...

  • Spike Lee!!!!

  • Walt Whitman+Spike Lee= amazing

  • Is Ghostwriter black?

  • @TheMethadoneParty God I hope not. Everybody in thiz show was all on black people'z sacz.

  • That is so funny how jamal is the "voice of reason" and nobody listens to him LOL

  • spike lee son! reppin NYC

  • Hearing the history of that monument gives me extra appreciation of Brooklyn. I already knew this show was awesome, and it's cool to see it has its deep moments too.

  • Eleven thousand soldiers buried in only 22 coffins? Talk about cutting corners!

  • Stoop Dude would fit right in with the 4chan crowd...

  • Stoop Dude needs friends. He spends too much time in his room drawing and talking to himself. lol

  • @juannie88 He needs friends, and a GIRLFRIEND especially. He so needs to get laid.

  • @PRdude True. Guys who get it don't need to act like that. They'd be too busy taking care of their woman's 'needs"

  • @juannie88 Well, to be honest, what I said was really just an expression. I may still be a virgin myself, but I don't act a damn thing like Stoopdude.

  • @PRdude Not that sex is important. Guys who have girlfriends wouldn't have time acting crazy in general. All they'd be able to think about is her.

  • @juannie88 Yeah you would think. Some guys with girlfriends still manage to act the fool somehow.

  • Lenni's pants are soooo rough!

  • Spike Lee in this episode is funny

  • Alex looks like a younger, Hispanic version of Burt Reynolds, if anyone has noticed...

  • I always had a thing for TIna. Tram-Anh Tran is truly a real American AND a doctor. Everyone should get that refernce.

  • Is that Spike Lee!?

  • @MochiMC Yes.That's him.

  • I can't see how they would let that one guy get the prize if he won. They'd probably find out very quickly that he isn't sixteen. What's he doing all this for?

  • "Stoop Dude" has already proven he's an idiot. He probably thinks he's smooth enough to pull it off.

  • Stoop dude must have one hell of a freakin memory if he can see the team for like a minute total and see them from a bridge a half mile away and be able to draw their asses that good !!! lol

  • Anyone notice Jamal helping Lenni into her seat at 0:14?

  • yea and the other two stand there like statues :)

    lol i love this show

  • they prolly had problems with it sliding out from under her, she looked kind of shady about jumping on it, lol

  • Spike directed this 4 part episode

  • right when i saw stoop dude, on the first part of this episode. i had flashbacks of how creepy he was. quite possibly the scariest thing ever because i saw it as a kid!!!

  • Those special agents look like they have THE most boring job in the world...

  • Spike talkin about martyrs is awesome... He's so realman... What a true ass nigga

  • Seriously, Spike Lee is really down-to-earth, especially when it comes to history.

  • stoop dude is scary...

  • -----SPIKE MAPHUKIN' LEE

    ---- 1:52 ( anyone think that was funny? )

  • wow. didn't even think to go there.

  • Ohmygosh, this episode is scary!!

  • "Stoop Dude" is too old to be acting like that.... then he might tell me that I'm too old to be watching Ghostwriter.... oh, well.. LOL

  • @MrsDiva83 But you seem more mature than he is.

  • Spike lee! Amazing.

  • how did stoop dude knews where lenni lived?

  • Remember in the 1 part of this arc where you can see manny gite has just bought some groceries ? just as he was about to leave remember they said bye mom were going up to lenni's for a minute as they were leaving manny must have seen them go to the upstairs appartment

  • Was that Jasmine? Jamal's love interest at the special agent's desk?

  • Alright! I'm so ashamed that I didn't even recognize Spike Lee on "Ghostwriter," when I was a little kid watching this. Spike Lee is definitely a New Yorker, repping Brooklyn to the fullest. He is Brooklyn's Finest!

  • Give yourself a break, no kid would know who Spike Lee is.

  • True! But, they should have knew who Spike Lee was. I mean he is one of the most popular filmmakers of all time.

  • @8:06 Scooby dooby doo...

  • lol they are wasting time standing around talking to that guy lol

keep going Ghostwriter team! Save the day!

  • of course.. spike lee... figures...

  • I remember Alex and Gaby were from El Salvador. YAY! i forgot what episode did he say they were from. I think it was when they first introduced Hector.

  • it was in "Lost in Brooklyn"

  • Didn't he also say it in to catch a creep. When he was talking about his pet chicken?

  • Actually, Alex said it in "To Catch A Creep"

  • well he did say it in both!

  • True, but "To Catch A Creep" was the first time.

  • yup!

  • gabby's outfit is cute!!!

  • was that spike lee as the "agent" at the end?

  • Dude these guys are so slow at figuring out clues. Its like their writing pace. Shit kids, take some ecstasy and speed the hell up.

  • lol. agreed.

  • AussieCan, there's something about riddles that you need to know. To put it philosophically, some are contrived like artichokes, but every now and then, it takes time to peel off even the spiniest of leaves in order to get to the very heart.

  • I knew that was Spike Lee...also on Ghostwriter...Samuel L. Jackson, Julia Stiles, and Jamal's Grandmother.

  • btw, they SHOULD have made stood man show some I.D.! lol

  • most kids under 16 don't have id

  • exactly if hehad i.d they would know he was older.

  • spike lee! wow.

  • spike lee? wow, they got all the good actors for this show! and he's from brooklyn, too!

  • BROOKLYN DATS WASSSSUP

    obviouls im from BK

    lol

  • spike lee reps brooklyn to death so it's not surprising he'd be all over ghostwriter :)

  • tina is a control freak

  • How did stoop dude know to draw a picture of rob? he never saw rob. Rob was not with them when he saw them? look at 8:08

  • Maybe he remembered him from the Boat House? LOL

  • Not to mention, it also included a very interesting story about the American Revolution.

  • Spike Lee is the shiz'at!

  • There was a lot of things he did not know about....he did not remember anything about his life except bein chased by barking dogs...so maybe if he did know he forgot

  • Yes another theory is from the Just in Time episode where Ghostwriter traveled back to 1928 to help Frank. After Frank grew up he became a doctor that operated on children but he died. So the other theory is that Ghostwriter is Frank's ghost.

  • that guy is soooo weird

  • Hey this could be another possibility of who Ghostwriter is. Maybe Ghostwriter was the ghost of one of the buried slaves the man was talkin about at the monument. Runaway slaves get chased by guard dogs to be brought back and Ghostwriter said he remembered bein chased by barkin dogs.

  • This is what it says on Wikipedia:

D.J. MacHale, who wrote series' pilot, stated: "If memory serves, Ghostwriter was supposed to be an ancestor of Jamal's, who was an escaped slave from the south who educated himself and learned the value of reading."

  • That sounds nice, even though it's kind of questionable just for the simple fact that your source is wikipedia.

  • @Princeoflove2007 very good observation but I still think he was a Catholic priest with a "thing" for kids, he has amnesia so he doesn't try to make letters look like cocks or anything yet but when he remembers look out children lol

  • @Princeoflove2007 according to wikipedia the guy who wrote the plot claimed that ghostwriter was a ancestor of jamal's from the 15th or 16th century!

  • @Princeoflove2007 You're partially true. Kermit Fraizer, a writer for the show, revealed in an interview that Ghostwriter was supposed to be a slave!! He was also chased by barking dogs, but it was during the Civil War. He was teaching younger slaves how to read. When he was killed by slave gaurds and their dogs, his spirit became trapped in the book he was teaching out of...the same book Jamal discovered! It fell in the pilot when they were getting out Jamal's Great Grandpa Ezra's trunk.

  • spike lee? did not recognize that

  • this was another very cool episode all bout COMICS

  • gigitybi
