Hearing the history of that monument gives me extra appreciation of Brooklyn. I already knew this show was awesome, and it's cool to see it has its deep moments too.
@juannie88 Well, to be honest, what I said was really just an expression. I may still be a virgin myself, but I don't act a damn thing like Stoopdude.
I can't see how they would let that one guy get the prize if he won. They'd probably find out very quickly that he isn't sixteen. What's he doing all this for?
Stoop dude must have one hell of a freakin memory if he can see the team for like a minute total and see them from a bridge a half mile away and be able to draw their asses that good !!! lol
right when i saw stoop dude, on the first part of this episode. i had flashbacks of how creepy he was. quite possibly the scariest thing ever because i saw it as a kid!!!
Remember in the 1 part of this arc where you can see manny gite has just bought some groceries ? just as he was about to leave remember they said bye mom were going up to lenni's for a minute as they were leaving manny must have seen them go to the upstairs appartment
Alright! I'm so ashamed that I didn't even recognize Spike Lee on "Ghostwriter," when I was a little kid watching this. Spike Lee is definitely a New Yorker, repping Brooklyn to the fullest. He is Brooklyn's Finest!
I remember Alex and Gaby were from El Salvador. YAY! i forgot what episode did he say they were from. I think it was when they first introduced Hector.
AussieCan, there's something about riddles that you need to know. To put it philosophically, some are contrived like artichokes, but every now and then, it takes time to peel off even the spiniest of leaves in order to get to the very heart.
There was a lot of things he did not know about....he did not remember anything about his life except bein chased by barking dogs...so maybe if he did know he forgot
Yes another theory is from the Just in Time episode where Ghostwriter traveled back to 1928 to help Frank. After Frank grew up he became a doctor that operated on children but he died. So the other theory is that Ghostwriter is Frank's ghost.
Hey this could be another possibility of who Ghostwriter is. Maybe Ghostwriter was the ghost of one of the buried slaves the man was talkin about at the monument. Runaway slaves get chased by guard dogs to be brought back and Ghostwriter said he remembered bein chased by barkin dogs.
D.J. MacHale, who wrote series' pilot, stated: "If memory serves, Ghostwriter was supposed to be an ancestor of Jamal's, who was an escaped slave from the south who educated himself and learned the value of reading."
@Princeoflove2007 very good observation but I still think he was a Catholic priest with a "thing" for kids, he has amnesia so he doesn't try to make letters look like cocks or anything yet but when he remembers look out children lol
@Princeoflove2007 You're partially true. Kermit Fraizer, a writer for the show, revealed in an interview that Ghostwriter was supposed to be a slave!! He was also chased by barking dogs, but it was during the Civil War. He was teaching younger slaves how to read. When he was killed by slave gaurds and their dogs, his spirit became trapped in the book he was teaching out of...the same book Jamal discovered! It fell in the pilot when they were getting out Jamal's Great Grandpa Ezra's trunk.
When Stoop Dude sent the drawing, why is Rob in it??? He didn't even go with them....
