  • Hi ,

You sing wonderful. Heard a bunch of your songs. Your voice is nice. But although you say talam is not your forte I would suggest you try to look out. It is not tough to get it from rendition of great masters at least for kritis in Adi, Misra Chapu and Rupkam

  • I really admire ur dedication and commitment in learning this, even without formal training! I've been unable to find a teacher, perhaps i should start taking steps myself and not wait around...thanks,u're my new inspiration!!!!

  • hi

    my 2p

you have some talent there. i wud think that u do akaara sadhakam on the varisaigal for just 1 hr for 6 months to get the gatram/azhutham they say. Good luck!

  • True Jai thats the trick of getting the brughas perfectly..

  • Good job done. Keep it up.

  • Really pleasant voice! u really havent learnt formally? Why not?

  • That's a good question. I never wondered why not. I got a sudden interest in classical music half-way through college. By that time it became too late with higher studies abroad, job etc. But I do keep learning new songs, especially Dikshitar kritis, which I am very fond if, on an average one every 2-3 months.

  • too bad u had no time.. Well all the best with your music! And post more songs! :-)
