I think that is better to do the incision of the prothesis by the medial side leaving the part near the inguinal legament more "solid" in the site of the internal inguinal ring.

relax, its not such a big deal. I've been working at the hospital for a year and I've seen lots of those operations. ask your anaesthetist for midazolam (it will make you feel comfortable, a little woozy, take away your fear) and enjoy the ride ;)

@hahaha4282 u should make a general look at ur Abdomen with ur physician , cause recurrent Hernia could be caused by increased Intra-abdominal pressure which is caused by too many reasons , Get Well Soon :)

This was beautifull im from serbia and i had hernia repair lichenstein, after 2 weeks i have massive swelling and during the procedure i had same local anesthetic, but i felt everything i was in big pains during procedure is it possible that local anesthesia doesnt work for everyone.
