Yes they get hot and Microsoft knew this but put this piece of junk out for sale anyway....Well got my new one at Target they have a 3 year service plan for 29 dollars...It is much better then Microsofts...They just give you a new one out of the store if your dies......Microsoft sucks

that happened to me about 4 times, then the e74 error wouldnt go away. but hey e74 is now covered with the same warranty as the RROD, and if you paid to get the E-74 fixed you get reimbursed

Hey i just got this today, when you sent it in and got it back did you get to keep all the DLC you had downloaded? What happened and if its a heating problem why didn't your cooler work? Any info you could give me would be great... my 2nd time Ive had serious issues with my 360.

Well i never got it fixed... It only didnt play RE5, so i never got past the first mission. because of an error reading the disc. then i turned it off, then on and i got the error message but it happened only once. hasnt done it with any other game/
