  • WOW!! they sound so amazing live!

  • ii love this song hey, they preachin & singin!! ha hahaha amen to that!

  • The same reason Fred always has a guitar and six others in the back ...lol

  • They have 2 drummers because Mike Williams is the original drummer of commissioned, but Marvin Mcquitty the one behind Fred is part of R.F.C. (radical for Christ) which is backing up commissioned the whole concert. So Mike Williams does the basic beat while Fred's drummer adds on.

  • I love love love Commissioned, I loved seeing and hearing Fred with his guitar, I got chance to see them twice when they were touring in the late 80's and early 90's in Memphis at the Orpheum they were with my other all time fav's The Winans, it was a beautiful concert so annointed!!!

  • Loove this song. Looved the sound. If there is ever a group I wished would come together and make a cd, it is this o ne. I love Fred Hammond and Marvins Sapp as solos artists, but how powerful of a project would that be if they came together with the rest of the guys as Commissioned.. umm umm.... Just putting it out there..

  • The best group ever of any genre!!!

  • LORD I WANT TO FOLLOW YOU. THANK YOU LORD FOR BEING IN MY LIFE. THANK YOU LORD. I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS. I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS... I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS. I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS. I LOVE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU JESUS.

  • I love this song, yes its so good to know that the savior is walking hands in hand with me!

  • i went to the reunion live wen they came to columbus ohio i was 11 years old, man it was fun im the biggest commissioned fan

  • alright marvin!!!

  • Sang! Sang! Sang!

  • Fred's such a BEAST on BASS!!..OMG!

  • KEYBOARD brass was better.

  • @TheQuantum09 But why have only keyboard brass at a live concert?

  • Yes Commissioned was apart of my childhood!!! lol!! 4real

  • i absolutely love Commissioned my family would be like "girl u old" lol

im 19 but ive been listening to them for like...forever lol

  • Actually he's the one to bring the sun to this song :-)

  • @ 3:23, my man KARL is one of the least talked about or mentioned singers of Commissioned, but yet one of my FAVORITES!!!! Hallelujah!!! He's instrumental in adding that lil' DISTINCTIVE high pitch falsetto within Commissioned harmonies....

  • I thought that was Mitch? : )

  • why are there 2 drummers please answer

  • to create complex drum patterns?

to make them appear larger than life?

to take them out of the box that says they only need 1 drummer?

    for completely aesthetic values?

    for no reason at all?

to involve Michael Williams in the reunion without making him redundant?

  • all of the above!!! and i love it!

  • @carlfoshizi i like the last one

  • @carlfoshizi yo! great answer(s).

  • @carlfoshizi lol

  • @shenitria .. one drummer keeps the main beat and the other drummer adds inflections, and if they are good enough which i am sure they are, they switch back in forth through out the song.

  • @Jackstl9940 there's also a sequenced drum pattern in addition to the two drummers... you can hear it in the intro... there's also a percussionist.

  • @shenitria one drummer Michael Williams is part of the Original Commissioned.. Marvin Mcquitty at the time was the drummer for Fred Hammond( who was already on his own) the deal I heard about was that Fred only agreed to do the reunion if he could bring in all his musicians and background singers... thats why the horn group Mo Horns, Joey Volfolk along with RFC(Radical for Christ) is there. The original Commissioned didnt have any background singers or double drummers

  • Did you know that Fred was married to Keith's twin sister...Fred and Keith were very close.

  • Ive Just decided this is my fav band, thanks for putting this vid on

  • does anyone have keith staten's first solo album Deliverance? if so please post

  • If I remember right that was a Fred Hammond Solo Album.

  • I love this song!!!

  • OMG! Mo horns is rediculous. Is that Marvin McQuitty on drums?

  • The drummer is killing it too!!!

  • Sang Kieth, with your fine self!!!!!!

  • I didn't even know Fred played the bass!

  • What?!

  • are you crazy???

the bass you hear in every commissioned song up to when he left the group was played by fred

  • fred hammond is quite possibly one of the greatest bassists ever listen not only to the notes he's playing but remember he is singing most of the time his tones are rich and pure

  • yea... he started out playing bass for the Winans.

  • yeah he plays while he sings that good

  • that is so true.

  • @revluff My brother told me the exact same thing yesterday. I never knew he even played until I saw these videos.

  • Commissioned is one of the best groups ever!! I was born in the late 80's but i still grew up on Commissioned!!!

  • Wow, what a first! I've heard what a great bass player Fred Hamnond, but this is the first time I've actually seen him play it.

  • Its so good to know the Saviour that Hes walking hand in hand with me ... Ive been listening to them since early 90s there awesome !!!!

  • Thanks Carl!!
