Actually Mr Fripp worked with al lot of great musicians and bands, (David Bowie, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, etc etc) more or less like Daryl did. But It would be nice if people here, would do their homework before they place a comment or a question, hmkaaaay? Like I mean: Google, Wikipedia, or ask your parents? And don't forget to check LFDH!
I knew Robert Fripp from my psychedelic musical adventures in the past. Was surprised to hear this, never knew he worked with Daryl also. Great song, awesome performance, FAR OUT!
I'm grateful to be able to appreciate such incredible music, and clearly see it's artistic meaning, at this moment in my life. As a young black child hearing my brother playing this album back then I didn't get it. As a adult I understand now, that my older brother was simply ahead of his time, as was Hall and Fripp when they made Sacred Songs. They were geniuses surround be people lacking knowledge. Your true fans then had the opportunity to hear your debut, as well as new ones now.~Phurdrick
Loved hearing this live after all these years. Such a great song from a great album. Paul Pesco playing the Fripp-riffs and Daryl at the helm singing. Nice vocals from Guster. Is there anyone Daryl hasn't worked with? OK, discuss....
@THB79 I like that suggestion... but Billy Joel's daughter Alexa Ray might be even more interesting a pairing with DH & his crew. Well, it's nice to hear something other than the usual pickings from the H&O catalogue isn't it? This is like a "lost recording" considering how little the exposure on this album was.

Sacred Songs was actually recorded in 1977, not 1980. It took 3 years to see a release by RCA.

Always loved this song... AND something in 4/4 time... Two great songs from that album!
But I really am starting to hate Daryl. His performance collaborations are so amazing that's forcing me to realize just how weak I really am.
(OK, I'm trying to be inspired. I really am. But as each episode of LFDH shows something else that's just amazing, well, it's getting harder...)

I never expected to hear something from Sacred Songs. That was great. I'd love to hear "Why was it so easy" or "Something in 4/4 time."
