i am using the permax 400 4D,, with a 3.2mm shaft... i have alloy upper arms.. custom made tires.. that i cut myself.... and i did a shock mod.. to allow for a stiffer action with the shocks.. and steel cvds

thank you im full aware of that.. it was my first time on that layout and only my second battery pack,,, i didnt have the time to learn.. i was trying to get the video of the tires reaction on the track,, .. thank you.. you cant learn a layout in just 5 minutes

the multiplex permax 400/4d with 3.2mm shaft the gearing is 19/41

would a 2.3mm shaft make a difference for speed? i got that so the pinions would fit

actually you have more gearing options when you use the 3.2mm shaft. RRP makes steel pinions for these motors and there is a wide range of sizes available.
