I work nights and have been losing a lot of sleep because I cannot stop listening to this guy to get any sleep :) He is incredible - can;t get enough of Michael Grimm . And it annoys me when in the past , the judges said he was not connecting with the audience - I highly doubt that . They were on their feet, cheering , LOVING this guy -he's so real ,so talented . Just love him !

Michael Grimm can sing to me anytime. He has a voice I will NEVER get tired of. There were others with some talent on the show this year. Imo Michael was the clear winner. I agree that isn't right to compare the 2 because they're 2 completely different genres; however, I truly believe that the attention that Evancho was getting was just because she is 10. Not that she isn't amazing, because I would be an idiot to say that, but I believe that if she was Michael's age, she would have been just another opera singer, ya know? At the time of the auditions, Jackie Evancho had a CD that was #121 on the top 200 Billboard, had performed on TV with the legendary David Foster and was scheduled to perform at Carnegie Hall, among many other accomplishments.

If you speak of overall talent, he takes it.. he's an outstanding singer, great guitar player, and even a great song writer ( i have his music)... jackie is great but I get bored listening to her.. I could listen to Grimm's voice for hours.. he just appeals to a much wider audience.

Serioulsy, though, the people voted for Michael because, clearly, they would rather listen to him. I enjoyed Jackie and thought she was very impressive, but Michael's album is the one I downloaded off Amazon.

this guy sounds awesome, love his voice, i've seen a lot of comments from people saying he was sooo much better than jackie evancho, which i disagree with because while he's got a great voice it's nothing that the world hasn't seen before, but it is good that he won since he needed it more and jackie has her whole life ahead of her to win competitions and whatnot. you're both awesome!

I agree that isn't right to compare the 2 because they're 2 completely different genres; however, I truly believe that the attention that Evancho was getting was just because she is 10. Not that she isn't amazing, because I would be an idiot to say that, but I believe that if she was Michael's age, she would have been just another opera singer, ya know? But, I've never heard anybody like Michael Grimm sing with so much soul and passion, and that's what makes him unique.

@casinoman32 - Michael is actually the only one out of the final four who stood in line to audition for the show. The other three were discovered and recruited by the producers online. At the time of the auditions, Jackie Evancho had a CD that was #121 on the top 200 Billboard, had performed on TV with the legendary David Foster and was scheduled to perform at Carnegie Hall, among many other accomplishments.

Ya' know, i really wanted Fighting Gravity to win, and i thought they were AMAZING, and definitely a Vegas act, and i was so mad to hear them come in 3rd place. Like seriously i would have settled for them coming in 2nd at least, like seriously how did Jackie come in 2nd....oh well. I think Michael Grimm is amazing as well, and it makes me a little happier that he won. Good job! :)

Idk y but with that hay Michael grim reminds me ALOT of Shia lebouf or w.e. I love Shia L. Has anybody else noticed that this season of agt has become a big pity party. "I ran away from home" or "I'm doing this fr my grandma" or "we had to leave school/college to do this" or "I've nvr had self confidence" or "we have disabilities but we can still sing" etc etc. I dont doubt that its mostly true and it only comes to show what difficult lives some Americans live.
