Religious believers are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they don't watch lectures like this, then they can't know what they are missing; if they do watch lectures like this, then they can't accept anything that presents palpable evidence against their god because by doing so they are sinning.

I've heard believers say that the better the proof is against their god, the more it proves to them that the Devil is clever and very convincing and the more they will blindly believe.

Yeah I've heard that as well, it must be hard for them, it means that whether they like it or not if they choose a religious path they will be left behind.

On the other hand of course look at how the church first viewed Astronomy and how it has now come around to believing science they will do anything to keep their flock and I think eventually when the establishment in the churches accept evolution the sheep will follow and just add a sub line saying yeah but god pushed the evolution button.

Then make your statements clear. There no mention of kunt hovind in your comment. Therefore it gave the impression as being an attack on Dawkins. Freedom of speech is one thing, freedom of blatant lying is another, and this is what creationists are fond of doing. Any accredited university or college would require perspective students to pass an interview or entrance exam to show that they have the ability to pass the course. I was not making fun of his accent in a general way. When I heard him pronounce squirrel it immediately struck me as sounding peculiar. I, in all honesty, wish I could speak as eloquently as Professor Dawkins. There is no harm in finding humor in this single utterance of a word. We all say things funny at times.

Some species of frogs and better known squirrels, (the pet sugar glider, and rocky with out bullwinkle) glid down from trees. The frogs drop down from the canopy becuase it's to much effot to climb back down.
