I suggest maybe you should try telling that to Fedor Emelianenko. In fact look up Fedor fights here on youtube and then maybe you should comment.

Watch a higher level organisation and tell me you dont see at least one thing that took true skill in martial arts to accomplish. You are correct in thinking these two arent highly skilled. you could be the most talented and gifted potential fighter in the world but if youre born in some third world country, or somewhere that martial arts is very unpopular, then you will never develop to your full potential.
the natural talent can come from anyone in the world, but the training has to be just as good too.
countries like brazil japan and america have had their growth stage already and mma has been more popular for longer so they will turn out better fighters.

It involves Boxing, Kick Boxing, Jujitsu, Sambo, Karate, Judo, Wrestling and many other styles of Martial arts. I admit this particualr fight shows little signs of anything other than Boxing and Muay Tai but you are wrong when you suggest there is no skill to it. I suggest maybe you should try telling that to Fedor Emelianenko. In fact look up Fedor fights here on youtube and then maybe you should comment.

Watch a higher level organisation and tell me you dont see at least one thing that took true skill in martial arts to accomplish. You are correct in thinking these two arent highly skilled. Neither would last 2 minutes in the UFC, Strikeforce, Dream, or probably even Bellator.

Brazil, for example has an array of excellent fighters competing at levels that other countries don't. But I agree that skill is down to the individual, I am just saying that the world around us does impact how far and well we can progress.
