hey, have ordered this on ebay as it has cool slow motion features - wanted to get some different filter lenses for it, do you know what size lenses it takes? 58mm, 77mm? Thanx!
Hello is me again...i asked some questions about the camera a few months ago, sorry to bother you...but i tried to edit video, i tried to mix HD and Slow MO video and the result was not as good as this video, can you tell how to do in order to have the slow mo video to fit the entire screen??...i treid to but the slow mo video has a big black space in both sides...thank you for your answer...
Hello again, i just bought this camera, and im wondering how can i keep the food quality of my vids??...what program are u using to edit the vids??...pls answer if u have time!!...
@Giyermo44 Any HD video editting program will give good results, even windows movie maker, But you need to use the right settings and render your video out with the right(same) settings. example 720p 30fps ,use a 720p/30fps timeline and render out as WMV or MP4 at 720p. For windows use moviemaker or pinnacles 14 ,Magix pro,Sony vegas,Adobe premiere ect. For Mac use Imovie,Finalcut express,Final cut pro. Learn your video formats that will help.
Hello..well i wrote a comment a while ago asking some questions about this camera...thxs again for answering me...i have another one...how many minutes are u able to record in HD?..i heard something that no matter how big is your memory card you re able only to record about 15 min of video in HD...is this true?...bye take care!!
@Giyermo44 Its about 20min at a time. i have a 16gig card and can record about 4 lots of 20min on that card. unless your doing a documentary why would you need to record this long anyway. Even doing a documentary i bet someone would muck up after 5-10min on there lines and you would have to cut and edit later so its not a problem for most people.
@Giyermo44 I think the most i have ever recorded in one go is about 10min. You would be surprised how long 10min is when you are recording lol. Even the canon 5D £2000 camera that the pro's use only get 12min at a time. If you need longer times then the panasonic GH1 is a good choice (30min) or a camcorder. Hope this helps you.
Seems that Casio have stopped the EX-FH20 and now have the EX-FH25 ... Its the same camera but with a slightly bigger sensor chip witch is a good thing. Just gone back to using this camera again as my Panasonic GH1 that i handle with kid gloves packed up on me at 6 months old and gone for repair. The casio on the other hand which gets used by my 9 year old and wife and gets a bit of a bashing is bullet proof.
FH25? is there a new model out. Thank you for all you comments and i hope the video footage has helped you decide if the casio is or is not for you. I also own the panasonic GH1 camera (£1500) and can say that in 720p HD mode there is not much in the Quality between the two.
Hi , I love this video.. your video make me buy FH25..i'm serious...i'm trying to upload HD videos...but my files have huge sizes.. 100mb ..maybe u edit ur files before uploading , don't you?
@Lizerawi you need to convert your video (compress) them to send them to youtube. Use a free converter program or if your on windows edit the video in movie maker and render out as a wmv file. The WMV file is smaller and can be uploaded to youtube.
The Bad videos of this camera on youtube are because they didn't edit in HD they converted to DVD or something else. Or / and they did not upload the proper HD format to youtube.
@Giyermo44 1. No it is a fixed zoom lens that is 26mm -520mm optical with a 2x digital (1040mm) The lens is very good quality. 2. Photo Quality is amazing ,nearly as good as my £1500 camera. 3. Yes the video imports into windows it uses the frendly motion jpg files. 4. The quality , i just recorded the footage and edited with a HD editing video program ( must be HD to keep the quality, some editing programs will down convert it to dvd quality) I then just uploaded in 720 HD to youtube.
@adey7569 thx very much for taking the time to answer my questions...i would li ke to keep in touch w u..xD cuz im decides to buy this camera...im working only for that..ok..have a wonderfull day...peace bro!...
The Camera is a £300 Dslr camera Which has slow motion capture on it just google Casio EX-FH20. The music first track was produced by my son using - Steinberg cubase 4 - and -Spectrasonics Omnisphere instrument -second music track was by me . The video was edited on a apple mac using imovie.
The camera can read a 32gig card ( i have tried it using my Panasonic GH1 Card) Can't say if a 64gig sdhc card works though as im not prepared to pay £100 for a 1inch memory card that is so easily lost lol.
Just would like to point out guys and girls that the casio hf20 is a brilliant camera for pictures,720p video and 210fps video.
But must point out that the 420fps and 1000fps resolutions in my opinion are not usable for video only good for practice golf swing etc. Also you will need to get 2 sets of 4xAA hybrid rechargable 2400mah Batteries with a fast charger as the camera does eat batteries for breakfast. A set batteries will do about 1 hour video or 200pic if your lucky.
Tremete i have a 8 gig card in my Fx-20 and can get around 60min of 210fps so i guess it would be 1/4 of that so 15min on a 2 gig card. I think you can only record for 29min at a time per recording as well on the european model a tax law thing. I would suggest getting at least a 8gig card if you want to take pictures and video when your out and about.
Shankitar The Film was edited on a mac using imovies 09.
Imovies can send the finished movie straight to your youtube account in HD 720p with just one click. If you have a PC i would guess the easiest and cheapest way would be to use windows moviemaker and render as a WMV 720p file and then upload manually through youtube..Good Luck,
beautiful!

This is one of the best casio clips I've seen. I mean, the balloons, jello, guns and whatnot are just tedious. Well Done. I'm buying the FH25.
