Since Melvin composed the tune, helped with the lyrics, and From The Heart (not MHL that was the next group they formed) had broken up he brought the song over to Simplicity. I remember once my friend from From The Heart had heard some other group was singing his song so we went to go see them and see if they stole it. When he saw it was Melvin my friend laughed and said now it made sense.
