Where are you getting your information? David Tant was sentenced to 40 years in prison for dog fighting in 2004. Then it was reduced to 30 years. He served almost 6 years and was released on parole. He also paid $100,000 in restitution.
Juan Carlos Olivero got a sentence of 10 years in 2009. A lot of people have been sentenced to terms longer than 2 years for dog fighting. Maurice Bayless was sentenced to 2-1/2 years Jan 2011.

In addition to the other cases I have named, Johnny Ray Lewis (Alabama) was sentenced to 102 years for dog fighting and is expected to serve 34 years of his sentence. Stacey Miller (Virginia) got a 4 year sentence. "Fat Bill" Reynolds (VA) got 30 months for having dogfighting images in his magazine. And so on.
Vick got a stiffer sentence because it was HIS property, he funded it, he KILLED them, took part in interstate dog fighting, etc. Read the court case and learn something.

Where are you getting your information? David Tant was sentenced to 40 years in prison for dog fighting in 2004. Then it was reduced to 30 years. He served almost 6 years and was released on parole. He also paid $100,000 in restitution.
Juan Carlos Olivero got a sentence of 10 years in 2009. A lot of people have been sentenced to terms longer than 2 years for dog fighting. Maurice Bayless was sentenced to 2-1/2 years Jan 2011.

In addition to the other cases I have named, Johnny Ray Lewis (Alabama) was sentenced to 102 years for dog fighting and is expected to serve 34 years of his sentence. Stacey Miller (Virginia) got a 4 year sentence. "Fat Bill" Reynolds (VA) got 30 months for having dogfighting images in his magazine. And so on.
Vick got a stiffer sentence because it was HIS property, he funded it, he KILLED them, took part in interstate dog fighting, etc. Read the court case and learn something.

I wouldn't care if MV was white yellow or green. If someone did what he did to those animals that person should be severly punished. Execution is not the answer, but there should be huge fines and serious jail time!!
