  • Summer of Sam

  • Oh the 70's.. Take me back Doc!! You kids today have no idea. You really don't.

  • lmao how did someone who basically posed the same comment twice end up with the top two comments? anyhow, it's been 14 yrs and this song still reminds me of the movie boogie nights and mark wahlbergs disturbing prosthetic. penis. wish i never took those two hits of acid before going to the theater that night.

  • @LedZeppelinx88 .are you ok........clean

  • Went to a party this chick was having. My friend is cousins with her. Turns out she used to live on my street and she is 25, 3 years older than me. I ended up staying the night we fooled around for about a week and a half and now I can't see her anymore. We didn't have sex until the second to the last time we hung out, which is what I think made me catch feelings. If we would have had sex on one of the first nights we hung out I wouldn't have fell in love.

  • this song goes out to the girl that stole my heart in Panama City Beach, Florida who i'll probably never see for the rest of my life :( heartache is only imaginary ache but it hurts the most...

  • Fishing on the Thames River Ontario 1977

  • I graduated from high school 35 years ago today (May 27, 1976). This was my favorite song at the time, and it was number 8 on the Cashbox chart the week ending May 29, 1976. I love what you did with the video! This is great and thanks for the trip down memory lane!

  • FooledAroundAndFellInLove~エルビン・ビショップの当たり曲、そしてあまたあるロックギター出色ソロのひとつ!~フィルモア野郎懐かし!

  • How true this song is......................

  • solo is very jimmy page-esque. great song

  • enjoyed your video! thanks.

  • Because of one scene in a movie, this song has come to represent the epitome of marital disrespect--a shameless wife telling her husband to leave her be while, before a group of interested onlookers, enjoying "an ass in her cock." Regardless, this remains a great song.

  • My fucking wife has an ass in her cock over in the driveway, alright? I'm sorry if my thoughts aren't with the photography of the film we're shooting tomorrow, Kurt, OK?

  • Heard this on the devils rejects.

  • This song is so great! I heard it the first time in Summer of Sam, then yesterday in Harold and Kumar 2 so I had to search for it. There's something about it that miss in today's music.

  • I love this song, but you missed the 2nd verse on the description.

  • It must have upset Mr. Bishop quite a bit, to have to not only defer the singing to the vastly more (vocally) taleted Mickey Thomas, but then to have A.M. radio cut the intro and ultimately the solo; that "signature," 16 bar solo, down to the paltry 8 bars of commercial viability. To tell you the truth, I only remember the "cheese" version. Thanks so much for posting this full version.

  • i heard this song and harold and kumar 2

  • funny ass movie

  • I have this song and heard it over a million times, but never saw a picture of Elvin Bishop until know. I always thought he was black. Huh...

  • @fjl05 Mickey Thomas actually sings this.

  • @DayTripper12880 Well he's not black either.

  • Not only great work on the video, but it's the album cut of the song that keeps the second verse and the full solo. Five Star Special!!!!

  • This song takes me back...Don't really hear it much on the radio now. It is a classic...

  • Love the animation! How did you do this? I took Flash and it drove me up the wall, I could never have done something this cool.

  • Mickey Thomas sings this so much better than Rod Stewart! No one can remake this song!!

  • Amen!

  • I agree, Thomas has such a sweet, innocent voice and Rod sounds too "earthy" to carry this song.

  • I didn't realize Mickey Thomas sang so many hits for so many groups. He has a perfect voice for this song and with Elvins guitar it made one the greatest hits.

  • I love this song. This is good for prom night/boy meets girl kind of song. Don't you think?

  • Wanna hear Elvin make a guitar scream? Check out "Drunk Again" from The Paul Butterfield Blues Band album "In My Own Dream".

  • You're a little bitch.

  • a very lovely song untill i die and beyond

  • The best thing Mickey ever did. Just a tour de force vocal performance. But damn, Elvin beside being a fine musician is an even better wrong writer!

  • great vocal sung by Mickey Thomas who later went on to sing co-lead for Jefferson Starship along with Grace Slick

  • yeah i never knew that but now that you mention it, that's him! redfish is right , it's the best thing he ever did, besides " We built this City", just kidding!Yeah Elvin was a great wrong writer!
