Hi Enies - I think these ads are airing in specific states and markets, ones where the working middle class and industrial middle class are a more prominent part of the voting constituency.
Taking the "high road" does not preclude being aggressive on fundamental differences Obama and McCain. Obama needs to get ahead of the curve. They are successfully responding to McCain's attacks, but why isn't Obama playing offense?
hell yeah!!!! if we can get Obama in office the U.S.A will be again a world role model!!! let's do it for every American and every person that has heard of the U.S.A in history..... MANY years ago I heard that someone had a dream[referring to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.] lets fulfill THAT dream... THE AMERICAN DREAM!
Wow, an ad that manages to slam an opponent without making up lies or resorting to name-calling. McCain's camp could learn something. This ad doesn't just use facts, it uses actual footage of McCain saying this stuff on his own. Hard to argue with that. Far cry from that "Oh, it appears Obama couldn't bring cameras" nonsense in McCain's ad that had no factual basis.
I believe that Obama truly wants to change the political process in Washington. If you read his two books and listen to his early interviews, you see that he is trying to understand and reverse the causes of the political gridlock that stops us from addressing many critical issues.
McCain, in his straight-talk, maverick mode, had the same impulse. But McCain's party won't help him succeed, forcing him instead to be Bush3. Obama's party might help him, if Obama can win a functioning majority.
This is a very good ad. I will urge the OBAMA campaign to keep repeating the first part that shows Mcsame confirming that he supports Bush's policies 95% of the time. This will posiively drive home OBAMA's insistence that McCain=Bush's 3rd term.
By the way, is there a reason that the John McCain YouTube channel will let you post on it without you having to see the annoying 'Comment Pending Approval' message, and Obama's channel won't? Oh yeah, John McCain is brave and can handle rude comments. I guess that means Obama can't handle them.
Not only has John McCain not challenged Bush and has not condemned Bush's actions, but now he seems to be slowly turning INTO Bush.
McCain is sort of abandoning everything he allegedly ever stood for in order to get elected.
Maybe all of his supposedly contrarian ideas were just preparation for an election in which he believed the Republican Party would be deeply unpopular.
GREAT!
PLEASE keep punching McCain in the mouth.
That is the ONLY way to win this election.

This is a very good political ad. Honest, hard, factual, and undebateable. Slightly negative, but that's the truth sometimes.
